White Sands Negril

La piscina estaba sucia, no tenía baño. Quitaron la luz y el agua y teníamos cosas en la nevera y cuando se hizo reclamo la colocaron nuevamente. Cuando nos bañamos el agua no se podía graduar y salía hirviendo, y con ese calor peor. No hay duchas para cuando ingresas de la playa, no hicieron aseo al cuarto, No hablan español. La
Atención en general el Jamaica no es su fuerte con el turista.

The food on menu at the beach bar is far too expensive, and the portion sizes does not reflect the price.

One of the biggest inconveniences was having to cross the main road to get between the two sides of the resort. While there were security staff present, they didn’t always assist guests with crossing, which was disappointing.

The food menu was very limited and remained the same throughout our stay, so there wasn’t much variety. The overall standard and finish of the resort also felt quite poor.

The rooms were not cleaned to a satisfactory standard. The bed sheets and towels had noticeable stains, which was unacceptable. There was also no telephone in the rooms, so whenever we needed to contact reception, we had to walk there in person. If you were staying on the beachside, this meant quite a long walk. The lack of a TV in the room was another downside.

Another frustration was the beach towel system. When you were given a token to collect your beach towel, you were then told to keep the same towel for your entire stay because fresh towels were rarely available. This was very inconvenient and not what you would expect from a resort.

At check-in, it would have been much more helpful to receive a printed information sheet with the breakfast, lunch, and dinner times, along with other useful resort information, instead of being told everything verbally and expected to remember it.

Wish there were a microwave in the room.

We didn’t like the fact that the room wasn’t cleaned daily. That was quite a shock to the system.

Tuvimos serios desperfectos eléctricos que nos dejaron sin aire acondicionado dos días completos , luego sin luz en el balcón .La luz de la cocina era muy deficiente con bajones permanentes de tensión ,la heladera perdía agua .El baño tenía olor de las cañerías ,nos reconocieron un crédito en consumos de bar por los inconvenientes. El hotel tiene dos sectores ,uno en la playa y otro en el jardín cruzando la calle . estábamos alojados en el sector del jardín en la parte antigua del complejo , si te vas a alojar en el White Sands asegúrate que no sea en ese sector .

There was no microwave. Furnishings were old. Bed made noise. No housekeeping. We had to use the same dirty white towels to shower 5 times and to take to the pool. The $200 deposit was uncalled for because there was nothing in that room to destroy. The wardrobe was old and we didn't even use it. The patio furniture needs to be replaced. The small refrigerator didn't work well. My 2 coconut water drinks got spoiled. The only good thing was the pool. The parking lot needs to be more accessible and pleasant looking. I would definitely never stay there again. When we went to the pool for an early swim, we were told we had to wait 3 hours before the lifeguard came. So we had to scrap the idea.

No tv, no microwave, iron,hair dryers
