Nahe der Innenstadt und gut erreichbar
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist, bezogen auf die Innenstadt, sehr gut.
Zu loben sind die freundlichen und auskunftsbereiten Menschen an der Rezeption.
Unser Zimmer war klein, aber ausreichend, sehr warm (bei maximal 23° Außentemperatur), das Bett komfortabel, das Bad war in Ordnung.
Das Frühstück erwies als routiniert mit großer Auswahl und hinreichendem Geschmackserkebnis.
Dass das Hotel an vielen Stellen ein wenig angestoßen wirkt, mag angesichts von Preis und Lage hingenommen werden.

Cons:

Das schöne Pendel, das auch dem Hotel seinen Namen gibt, soll zwar ein Foucault-Pendel sein. Es ist es aber gerade nicht, da sich seinen Schwingungsebene nicht verändert (vielleicht einmal die Aufhängung oben prüfen?)
Der angepriesene Kaffeeautomat befindet sich seit Monaten im Zustand "Out of order". Muss man dann damit werben?
Und, ja, eine Toilettenbürste gehört eigentlich zur Standardausstattung...

Pros:

Dobrá anglická teplá snídaně, čisté pokoje i koupelna, klidné místo, kousek od nádrží Piccadilly a 10 minut pěšky do centra. Rychlá wifi.

Cons:

Pokoje trošku menší, méně místa na větší kufr.

Pros:

Location was ideal for us. We booked 5 rooms in total and it met all our needs. We had one room with cot bed, one with disability access and one with two single beds and two rooms with double beds.

Cons:

Parking was an issue. Code for discount did not work and we had to move our Cars from front of the hotel after 2 hours max .

Pros:

The value for money. Fairly priced. The room met all my requirements. My bathroom had a Walk in shower which was appreciated for older guest.

Cons:

Garden bar area is a bit dated. The outdoor seating I sat on needed replacing. A bit dangerous to sit on. Reported it to the bar person. Were alternate options so we moved.

I loved the actual pendulum in the hotel, which had friendly staff and was near the station.
Pros:

Friendly staff who were very kind and helpful. Small room with everything I needed. Very near Manchester Piccadilly station. I loved the actual pendulum, swinging in the centre of the hotel.

Cons:

No clock on the wall. I always wish for my bedroom to have a silent clock. Too many towels - why not save time and energy by giving just one towel for a stay of 3 nights, and provide more if asked?

Pros:

A good standard of hotel on the fringe of the City Centre. Convenient for Universities, Piccadilly Station and bus services. Accessible for those with limited mobility.
