Staff great hotel poor , hotel lets the staff down
Pros:

The staff are a credit to the hotel , very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Bedrooms could really do with a major overhaul , I was surprised in the booklet that the rooms have all been done we was on the bottom floor and we could hear the people above walking everywhere creaked all the time it’s a shame because the hotel is in a prime location

Lovely old pub. Good breakfast too.
Pros:

Lovely old pub in great location

Cons:

The only thing that let our stay down was not having a kettle in our room. Using the Nespresso machine to boil water for tea didn’t really work for us. Other than that we enjoyed our stay there.

Pros:

Location ground floor plenty of parking

Cons:

Not what we expected. Definitely not an £160 executive suite. A little musty and dated

Amazing food, staff and vibes.
Pros:

It was very homely and cute. And the decor was kept to maintain the Inn vibe from when it was a coaching inn in the past.

The food at the restaurant was amazing. Reasonably priced with fine dining finishes.

Cons:

Nothing

Lovely breakfast, nice surroundings and reeds in the rooms really nice, but didnt the best nights sleep.
Pros:

Well decorated and comfortable surroundings

Cons:

The walls are very thin so can hear the conversations going on in the next room. Not ideal when people are coming back to their room in the early hours of the morning. The toilet flushing was very noisy in the rooms which also disturbed sleep during the night.

Cons:

Bathroom sink was cracked & could do with replacing. Also it had a slight blockage which should be cleared.

Olde worlde relaxing stay with our dog in a lovely friendly hotel.
Pros:

Lovely hotel. Central location and dog friendly. Very old fashioned which we liked. The waiter at lunch time and breakfast was extremely professional and friendly.

Cons:

We had a nice lunch here. Probably a more inspiring menu might have led us to eat here in the evening also.

Enjoyable relaxing stay.
Pros:

Fabulous breakfast. All items piping hot and very tasty. Excellent efficient waiter. We also enjoyed a delicious 'fish Friday " meal in the evening. Lovely historic building. Excellent helpful staff. Good to have parking during our stay.

Cons:

Didn't know how to use the coffee machine. Instructions would have been helpful. Eventually worked out how to get boiling water to make instant coffee. We were not supplied with tea bags, only fruit and peppermint tea. Pillows comfortable but no pillow protectors. We stayed in the Warwickshire room, experienced a lot of noise from the room above, with creaking floorboards. Unfortunately, our wing mirror cover was stolen from our Peugeot car , on the Friday night. Hotel had no cctv covering the car park. so unable to pursue this.
