Pros:

I like leaving the property

Cons:

The staff were rude, unhelpful and disrespectful. Yes that’s you on reception on evening of 16th June. Pool was dirty, breakfast terrible, nothing nearby.

Our Go to Place on the Cape
Pros:

We've been staying at the Sandwich Lodge every year for 20 years - give or take. We stay as a large group, and also, my husband and I stay again during the summer. The staff is wonderful and we've always had a wonderful time. The improvements that they have made over the years have been very impressive. It's a wonderful place to stay on the Cape.

Loved the room and pool . Please make it known that that are no elevators

Beautiful room, lovely pool. Good location

Cons:

There was nowhere that mentioned that there was no elevator. We had a really hard time carrying everything up to our room with all the steps and bad backs. Staff had no options for us

Cons:

Very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Walls paper thin could hear the blasting television from the next room ALL night. Not the hotels problem very rude guest. Someone did knock on the door however the guest never answered.

Overpriced and not worth the money. Rooms were outdated and worn. Beds uncomfortable. Also, the pool and hot tub were extremely dirty. Chloramines were prevalent because that’s what happens when you don’t clean the water. Our family couldn’t breathe due to the strong smell, Had red itchy eyes, and coughed all night. Nothing was done by the staff. They didn’t even apologize. Be cautious when booking here. Other rooms closer to pool seemed to be updated but rooms 123,124,125,126. Not pleasant. Would NOT stay here again.

Great location and amenities
Pros:

We stayed at the Sandwich Lodge & Resort for one night in March. The location is great, with lots of restaurants nearby, as well as area attractions.

The room was spacious, and had a small microwave and refrigerator in addition to TV etc. The indoor pool was a bit chilly for our taste but the hot tub was great. There is also a game room and ping pong table for the kids.

The complimentary breakfast offers bagels and baked goods, dry cereals, and make-your-own waffles. You can also ask at the front desk if you'd like eggs and sausage, which is great since it means the food isn't sitting out and getting wasted when not eaten.

I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area. And you can't beat the price for a late spring getaway (with no crowds).

Comfy beds! Pool! Ping Pong!
Pros:

My family spent one night there recently in a suite, after a family birthday party. Didn't even stay long enough to shower. The place was clean and did not smell of smoke the way hotels of this era used to. Certain features were recently updated (e.g. the public bathroom off the lobby is gorgeous!). Beds were super comfortable. But in the room with two beds, one of them was so close to the dresser you had to squish between them to get to the second bed. And when we went to plug in a lamp next to the pull-out sofa where my daughter was going to sleep, we found the outlet behind the sofa had no cover, it was just exposed. The pool looked fun, but the noise of the people using it came right into our room. (Luckily the family left around 9:30 PM). We appreciated the ping pong table and air hockey. Breakfast was decent enough--always appreciate a waffle maker! No sidewalk on the road so although we went for a short walk in the morning, we felt like we were courting danger.
