Think twice before booking
Cons:

You can tell that the hotel was once a beautiful 5-star property, presumably at its opening. Unfortunately, the buildings are not well maintained and the overall look is outdated. You can still enjoy the different amenities - Pool, nearby beach, breakfast buffet... The absolute worst aspect of the stay, an aspect that is inexcusable for a "luxury" hotel is its staff. With the exception of the manager, a very kind and solution-oriented man, the team is incredibly rude. After drilling for days above our room, the smoke alarm started dripping water at 1AM, and when we reported it to the reception, we were accused of smoking in the room - Not only are we not smokers, but it would have caused a different reaction in the device itself. We were finally offered a replacement room, which was a whole grade below what we had paid for. When checking out, we were asked to pay for other guests' bills, as they input the wrong room number from the invoice into their system, and didn't let us go to sleep for more than one hour until they realized they indeed made a mistake.

As someone who worked in the Luxury industry, I strongly advise the manager to reconsider Roberta at the reception, who yelled at me and my mother for telling her we are not paying someone else's bills, and talked trash about us to other staff members (not realizing I speak Italian and can understand exactly what she is saying). If that is the image of the hotel, it is no surprise that the rating on Booking is continuously going down...

Eine wohlfühl Oase an der Küste Catanias- gerne wieder
Pros:

Eine schöne grüne Anlage mit leckerem Frühstück. Der dazugehörige Strand war auch perfekt für einen Strandtag. Kostenlose liegen und ein Sonnenschirm stehen als Hotelgast zur Verfügung. Mit einem E Scooter ist man dank der E-Bike Lane super schnell in der Innenstadt. Zu Fuß benötigt man circa 45min in das Stadtzentrum. Ein Supermarkt ist per Fuß in circa 15min erreichbar

Cons:

Das Personal war eher durchwachsen. Wir hatten Kontakt mit netten Mitarbeitern, hatten jedoch auch einen sehr unfreundlichen Kontakt mit einem Herren an der Poolbar. Am Pool waren leider 50% der Liegen mit Handtüchern belegt von den Gästen jedoch keine Spur auch über Stunden hinweg nicht. Hier würden wir uns eine Lösung wünschen wie es bereits in mehreren Hotels gelebt wird.

This is not a 5 star hotel. The shower didn’t drain properly, the air conditioner making too much noise, the staff were disrespectful, music too loud till midnight

Location, food and comfort were good- if renovated it would be amazing!
Pros:

Our flight was cancelled and I booked this hotel for location to airport and its access to the beach. We did eat at the restaurant and enjoyed it very much - service and food were excellent.

Cons:

The hotel is charming, but in need of renovation. Ground floor rooms were musty and damp. The breakfast should come with room reservations.

Breve soggiorno
Pros:

Ho soggiornato una sola notte quindi non ho usufruito di tutti i servizi.
Posizione ottima, vicina all'aeroporto (15 min ), piscina bella.
L'unico difetto, la colazione. Costo 16 € ma fanno pagare extra le omelette ... mah ! in qualsiasi hotel ma soprattutto in un 5 stelle non esiste che ci siano degli extra.
