Very homely , cottage feel . Bed was very comfortable.it was clean and had everything i needed .
Outside staircase leading up to the room was a bit steep so had to take extra care not to fall and navigating that for someone elderly with reduced mobility would be an issue
Quite and people very friendly, the accommodation was excellent, clean and modern with a sea view
bed was hard, but to be expected
Good area right next to the Estuary with amazing views. The room was quiet and cozy. All sights in Ravenglass area are within easy travel distance from hotel.
Amazing food, friendly attentive staff and lovely comfortable room right on the estuary front.
Its a bit messy getting to the room. Out the back of the pub amoung the beer kegs and other old unused furniture but once inside you would never know.
The room was very nice, spacious, clean, nice furnishings and good shower room. It was very comfortable.and had a nice view from the front window. The meals at the hotel were good, nice breakfasts, part buffet, part served, dinner was good too, choice of menu ok. Nice atmosphere in the bar and the staff were hard working, friendly and efficient .
That the Inn at Ravenglass was an old building which had been closed as an inn for some time. and was very run down. It is actually run/owned by the Pennington Hotel a few yards up the road, where meals were taken. I believe there were two rooms in the in, ours was one of them and while the room was vert nice, access left very much to be desired. Access from the car park was through an old shed storing broken furniture etc, then past empty beer barrels (several dozen) and 2 large rubbish bins, then an outside open read staircase. Very disappointing.
We didn’t get up in time to enjoy the breakfast, but the service and staff were absolutely excellent. Could not have had a nicer room, or nicer people. Thank you so much.
The bedroom was sizeable, comfortable, well fitted out and with terrific views of the estuary at Ravenglass. The Inn is managed by the nearby Pennington Hotel and I took dinner and breakfast at The Pennington.
The Inn is not self sufficient in that it does not provide breakfasts. Evening meals can be obtained on days when the Inn is open. The Inn operates as a pub at lunchtimes and evenings. If these arrangements do not suit, there is always The Pennington Hotel available for meals.
De ruime kamer en uitzicht
The view from the room is sensational. The suite is very spacious. Comfortable bed, sofa and huge bathroom with double sink, bath and shower. Very easy to go downstairs to the pub to eat.
The entrance is a bit low key. Round the back of the pub and up some wooden stairs, but don’t be put off. It is worth it.
The view
The location was great & the room was so lovely & spacious. Fantastic sea view from the room.
The outside approach, to the room was worrying as its in need of repairs, paint & looks such a mess.
The location was great and the room was huge.
Room was looking tired and in need of repair around the windows and doorways
Quiet relaxing location lovely room great breakfast and service.
