Was told that all restaurants were fully booked for lunch on a Saturday despite the fact they were clearly not - staff seem to have decided they did not want too many guests for Sat buffet in Isabella. Eventually got a table after revisiting the rest after 12 to find many empty tables - after complainingall of a sudden one was avail. Ordered room service at 7.00pm on Sat night for 2 burgers and 2 cokes (paid 600Dkr online) del time was 1 hour. After 1 hour 20 mins my wife went down to enquire where our food was at reception, received apology and promise to chase up. 20 mins or so young chap totally flustered shows up at our room with trolley - 2 burgers and chips (uncovered) had no serviettes or correct cutlery, (only knives) also brought wrong sauces. Took one bite out of my burger to find it totally raw and uncooked in the middle, my wife cut hers in half, exactly the same. Took them back down to reception where a lovely member of staff Julia apologised profusely and arranged a refund of our costs for the food. Sort of lost our appetite by then so no dinner on Sat eve. On checking out on Sunday morning Julia again apologised for the state of food and promised that a senior manager would be emailing me in a couple of days with an explanation and some compensation. It’s nowThursday and have heard nothing. The hotel is clearly understaffed and have too many external events going on that they dont appear to cater for actual hotel guests. I won’t be returning - so disappointing!!

Beautiful Beach Location with Amazing Breakfast
Pros:

The hotel is in a fantastic location on the beach, within view of Kronborg Castle. There is a train station only 3 minutes' walk away - although the service wasn't very reliable, it made it really easy to get into Helsingor and connect to Copenhagen. The breakfast service was absolutely fantastic, with a wide range of high-quality food. The lounge and bar areas are cozy and inviting, and we loved the selection of board games and other activities like table tennis and shuffleboard. I'd definitely stay here again

Cons:

I felt that I paid a lot for a 3- night stay - although I am aware that I paid a premium for a sea view - so it would have been nice if this had included use of the pool/spa rather than having to pay an extra £45 a day per guest for this.

Helt okej, frukosten var bäst.

Cons:

Väldigt dyrt att använda poolen, rummet kunde varit flottare, litet badrum. Tror att vi bodde i gamla delen, kommer ihåg från tidigare vistelse att rummen var större.

Situation de l’hôtel en bord de mer.
Taille de notre chambre, bonne insonorisation et notre vue sur la mer.
Excellent petit déjeuner
Nous n’avons pas testé le spa qui semble être le principal attrait de l’hôtel pour la plupart des clients.

Cons:

La taille de l’établissement: beaucoup trop grand à notre goût.
