Pros:

Very convenient to the train station.

Cons:

Small, dated room, with noisy air conditioner. Luckily it was late in the season and we didn't need it. Very expensive for what we got, but the whole town seems to be that way. Staff was indifferent.

Perfect location but expensive for what we got
Pros:

Excellent location - close to the train station, restaurants and shops, easy parking across the road

Cons:

We went in August and the room had no air con and was unbearably hot. Also the room and bathroom was very cramped, the sink couldn't even fit in the bathroom so was in the bedroom

AC doesn’t work
Window has no locks and anyone can just open and come in
Can’t blame the hotel, blame booking.com for allowing these bookings and letting their customers be played

Pros:

In a central location.

Cons:

The rooms need to be renovated, not just new furniture. Especially the bathrooms. The heating was just a portable unit that had exhaust thought the window. I think the original heating was broken 😕
The carpet on the stairs leading up to the rooms needs to be changed, it is worn-out. The room cost was not cheap, so I expected it was better.

Central to town. Clean & comfortable.

Cons:

Very noisy fans & delivery vans, as our room was at the back. Wanted our window open for fresh air, as our room was quite hot, but had to suffer the outside noise. Very small & dated bathroom.
No teabags.

Great location but disappointing facilities for the price.
Pros:

The Astoria is in an ideal location to stroll around Jasper with many restaurants all around.

Cons:

The room was clean but definitely felt old and stuffy. We had a premium room with a mountain view....but the mountains were far away and across a street, parking lot and railway tracks.

Great value and walking distance to everything
Pros:

Located on the main Jasper strip and walking distance to all restaurants and shops. Hotel provides breakfast $20 voucher for one morning. Free parking across the street. Bed was comfy and coffee was provided . It was good value for the area and I recommend it if you want to be “downtown” Jasper

Cons:

We had mountain facing room and could hear cars, train , people. Room came with white noise machine and this really helped drown out the noise.
