A storied hotel
Pros:

Friendly staff was accommodating by providing a bowl, utensils and a kettle. Good to have a fridge. Built in the 1920s this place has history.

Cons:

The bed took up half the space in the room. Bathroom is separated from sink

Beds were comfortable and lots of USB chargers right by the bed. The location right in the heart of beautiful Jasper. Coffee shop and pizza restaurant next door were great.

Cons:

If you have a room on the street side, bring earplugs as the constant trains are very noisy. It’s also very hot in summer and the aircon is very noisy. We found the bathroom to be quite dirty and old and the cleaning service to be quite inconsistent. Very expensive for what you get.

Es war leider nicht sonderlich sauber und wir hatten eine Heuschrecke im Zimmer. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein gewesen und dafür im Verhältnis teuer, was aber an der guten Lage liegen dürfte

Centraal gelegen oud hotel in Jasper
Pros:

Nostalgisch hotel centraal gelegen in Jasper. Veel toeristen winkels en restaurants op loop afstand. Tegenover trein rails, het station en rangeer terrein, denk aan geluid als je een kamer aan de voorzijde hebt. Onze kamer lag aan zijkant, geluid viel mee. Betaald parkeren op openbare parkeer plaats tegenover hotel, kosten worden via kenteken registratie door hotel geregeld. Hotel heeft geen lift.

Cons:

Dubieus werkende oude airco, die veel geluid produceert. We waren er eind juni en het was nog koud 's nachts, dus airco kon af. Geen gratis ontbijt. De 2 doorgezakte 1 persoons bedden waren niet top.

Cons:

De bedden zijn heel zacht, dat moet je van houden. In de beschrijving staat koffie/thee faciliteiten, maar voor de thee is er standaard geen voorziening. Er staat dat er een streamingdienst aanwezig in je boeking, bij navragen, kreeg ik als antwoord dat het maar bij 2 kamers aanwezig is en die hadden wij niet gekregen. Dat is wel nep.
Badkamers zijn enorm verouderd.

Het hotel zelf is aan een opknapbeurt toe, versleten vloerbedekking en kaal hout.

Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt.

I guess it is hard to find accommodation in Jasper at this time of year, especially given the effects of the fires a few years ago. We were prepared to pay more than we would normally because of this.
