A Truly Magical Hotel
Pros:

I cannot recommend Amathus Beach Hotel enough. I have been staying here yearly for over 40 years and its the best hotel in Limassol. It has something truly magical that the other hotels although lovely don't possess. The staff are exceptional & feel like family as they go above and beyond to help you and make your experience special. You are always greeted by the amazing friendly & helpful Porter's & Michalis in particular makes our trip every year as he is so funny, helpful & charming. When I think of Amathus I think of him.

The grounds are stunning, a true piece of paradise is sunbathing on the beautiful lawns under the palm trees. The hotel is exceptionally clean & I love the style & decor of the hotel. The view & sunsets are beautiful either from your room or the Athina Hotel Bar which i always love having a pre-dinner cocktail here. Lozana is my favourite and she always looks after us. The seafood restaurant Limanaki is a must. The ambience is amazing. To sit in candlelight by the sea and eat fresh delicious seafood. We usually eat here more than once during our stay as its that good. Zina Makariou also always makes our trip. Her warm, kind, funny, professional manor is so appreciated and she goes above & beyond every time we stay to make sure we feel special. This year I celebrated my birthday with my friends with dinner at Limanaki & Zina went out of her way to arrange a beautiful delicious birthday cake & gift. Going above & beyond.

Amathus has a special place in my heart & I always look forward to staying here and seeing the same wondeful staff every year.

מלון איכותי ומפנק
Pros:

הכוח של המלון הזה לא באמת עובר דרך התמונות – צריך להיות בו כדי להבין. הקסם שלו נמצא בפרטים הקטנים, ביחס ובשירות שממש עוטף אותך מכל הכיוונים לאורך כל השהות.
המלון נקי מאוד, מסודר ומתוחזק ברמה גבוהה, והשירות מצוין בכל רחבי המלון. יש תחושה אמיתית של תשומת לב לאורחים ושל צוות שרוצה שיהיה לך נעים.
גם למשפחות עם ילדים יש נקודות חזקות במיוחד. פעילות הנינג'ה בחוף הייתה מצוינת – פעילות כיפית ומוצלחת מאוד לילדים, ובהחלט אחד הדברים שהם נהנו מהם במיוחד.
המלון מפוצץ בישראלים - לפחות 50% אם לא 70% - למי שאוהב הרבה ישראלים מסביבו על כל המשתמע - הנאה מובטחת

לצד כל הדברים הטובים, היו גם כמה נקודות שפחות אהבנו.
ראשית, החדרים ללא מרפסת הם חיסרון משמעותי, במיוחד בחופשת קיץ עם ילדים. אין למעשה מקום נוח לייבש בגדי ים ובגדים רטובים. ההמלצה שלנו היא להתעקש מראש על חדר עם מרפסת.
בחדר שלנו היה גם ריח מאוד לא נעים של טחב ועובש, וזה בהחלט פגע בחוויה.
הבריכה הראשית הייתה חמה מדי. בימים חמים מצפים שהכניסה לבריכה תהיה מרעננת, אבל המים היו כל כך חמים שלא היה בה שום אלמנט של רענון לאורך היום.
נקודה נוספת וחריגה ביחס לשירות המצוין שקיבלנו כמעט בכל מקום אחר במלון הייתה המלצר הראשי בארוחת הערב, שהיה מאוד לא נחמד ולא תאם בכלל את רמת השירות הגבוהה של שאר הצוות.
