Pros:

Sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich, v.a. an der Rezeption. Als Gast fühlt man sich in diesem Hotel sehr wohl.

Below expectations, not worth the money, especially the extras (breakfast, private sauna & jacuzzi)

Cons:

Breakfast was terrible - poor quality, lack of options, lack of warm meals like scrambled eggs, no veggies at all! On the other hand, there were many sweet options. Unfortunately people from our group (13 people) were 'forced' to eat breakfast outside of the hotel. This is not acceptable - we booked rooms with breakfast
Pool - we were told that its open till 8pm. We entered the pool at 6:40 pm and a lady there told us that the pool will be closed in 20 minutes.
We had a room with sauna and jacuzzi - poor experience as well. Water in jacuzzi was not warm enough. Sauna had big hole/leak and it was not hot enough inside it. We paid extra money to use jacuzzi and sauna and again - disappointment.
In another room we had a problem with a bathtub - we couldnt drain the water out of it. We reported that at the reception and we were told there is no technician to help us and we have to wait till tomorrow. So we couldnt take a bath before night (sic!). No alternative proposed. We asked for a different room and then we were offered to use a bathroom in different room. When we entered it, it was disgusting - not cleaned after the guests (while we were told its clean) - hairs inside the bathtub, dirty toilet..

Great location and comfortable room, though choose floor that you stay on carefully if you care for the view.
Pros:

Room was spacious as it was a suite and we highly recommend it for families as there were separate rooms with separate aircondition which was very pleasant as we each prefer to sleep with different temperature. The mattress for the sofabed was also very comfortable. And the location of the hotel was very ideal as it is walking distance from the Oldtown as well as other restaurants.

Cons:

The pillows were quite hard which made it slightly harder to sleep and the view from our suite, which was on the 5th floor, had a partially blocked sea view due to the restaurant roof blocking it.

Pros:

We had booked a one-bedroom suite for our family of three, and were upgraded on arrival to a two-bedroom suite, which was great. The apartment was huge and we had a big balcony with a seating arrangement and a large table and chairs, with view to the sea and the fort. The room was well air conditioned. The walk into the city center was about 20 minutes. We waited until late afternoon to go, as it was very hot.
The breakfast buffet offered a large choice, including plenty of fresh fruit. Our breakfast table had a view on the pool, so we could watch the other guests coming to reserve all the deck chairs before going to breakfast.
We were lucky to find a parking space right in front of the hotel on arrival.
The young man at the reception was extremely helpful: he took plenty of time to recommend the best restaurants, also the ones where the locals go, and to answer all our questions regarding sightseeing and shopping.

Cons:

The toilet leaked, making a puddle every time we flushed. We could see in the guestbook that a previous guest had already noticed this. We informed the reception who said they would take care of it.

Hôtel de qualité proche du centre de Rethymnon
Pros:

Superbe adresse, à 20 minutes à pied du centre historique de Rethymnon.
Appartements spacieux, climatisés, bien exposés avec une vue magnifique.
Piscine agréable, petit déjeuner divers, restaurant à la carte raisonnable avec une superbe vue.
Rethymnon est idéalement placé pour les visites dans toute l'île.
Un must.
