Clean, pleasant and adequate for our needs.
Pros:

No breakfast! Just coffee. Comfortable bed and bedding, small fridge, microwave. Maid service upon request. Location was perfect for our needs.
Close to Asilomar Conference Center and Asilomar Beach.

Cons:

Given the high cost of food I understand why there was no breakfast. I would rather pay less for the room than have add ons for breakfast.

Cons:

I was locked in the bathroom at least 3 times. If I had been alone, it would have been a real problem! If you closed the pocket door all the way, it would not open. There was no handle on the door. So, we had a lack of privacy as we could not fully close the door.

Great location walkable to Asilomar Conference Grounds and State Beach.

Quiet room and comfy bed.

Cons:

Took three trip from the office to finally get a room that was ready. This was well after the 3 pm check in time.

On our third day, we were locked out of our room, requiring another walk to the office to get the keys straightened out.

$28/day is a bit on the high side. How about $50 for the 3-day stay, or something more reasonable.

A very nice comfortable place to stay with friendly and personable staff.
Pros:

Location is very convenient for restaurants, sightseeing, shopping, walking.

Cons:

Would have liked a second comfortable chair in the room as well as a stool in the sink area to use when putting on makeup at that counter.

Acceptable but won’t be back
Pros:

The location was nice. Close to the beaches, quiet, and not too far from downtown.

Cons:

It needs an update and a good cleaning - old and outdated and not the level of cleanliness I’d expect for the price we paid.

Nice location. Quiet and close to everything.
Pros:

Location is incredible and just a short trip or walking distance to all we needed.

Cons:

Comfort. I hate being in the bed if not sleeping and there was no way to relax in the room without being on the bed. I understand that they couldn’t have added a couch with two queen beds. Probably just uncomfortable for me.

Love coming here
Pros:

Friendly people work here. The small size means that room service is fast and very good.

Cons:

It's not directly adjacent to food/shopping places. If you're like me and just want a quiet escape for a few nights, that won't dissuade you. My fridge wasn't very cold, unfortunately, which the owners may want to look into.

Of course I may have just been using it wrong.
