Great Hotel
Pros:

Friendly , helpful staff. Beautiful sea views. Pool area and in house restaurant serves a delicious Caprese salad . Shuttle into town helps with the distance.
Bathroom meticulous. Peaceful location.

Cons:

Nothing, they were most helpful in ensuring we had a great stay .

Close to the city center

Cons:

The “hotel beach” was closed during our stay and honestly looked more like a pond than a real beach. Very disappointing and poorly maintained.

Fint hotellrom og bra rengjøring, likte at frokosten hadde egen barista og maskin til å lage egen juice.

Cons:

Hotellet har egen parkering på sin eiendom, men du må betale 15€!! Per natt!! Vi valgte å stå langs gaten da dette er gratis, men synes det er merkelig å betale så mye for parkering på hotellets egen eiendom.
De skulle også ha betalt 3€ per person for å låne et håndkle til bassenget, noe vi ikke opplevde på andre hotell. Generelt var hotellet greit, men kommer ikke til å bo her neste gang.

Bon séjour chez vous et personnel très agréable et serviable.
Pros:

Déjeuner : bien. Pas très varié.
Les lits singles sont très petits mais la responsable a trouvé une solution en nous proposant de mettre 2 lits singles pour une personne.

Cons:

La largeur des lits singles est franchement très petite.
La plage proche de l'hôtel n'est pas très pratique et belle pour s'y installer, il faut aller plus loin que le port pour trouver une plage correcte.
Proposition: augmenter la plage horaire de la navette qui nous conduit au centre.

We loved this hotel and will stay here again! Beautiful hotel with great amenities!
Pros:

The location was close to city center. There was a free shuttle to center center. Most of the staff was very professional and polite. The room was spacious and had AC. Had a nice balcony with view. The breakfast as outstanding.

Cons:

There were a few staff who were not as pleasant.

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Wir würden nicht wiederkommen.

Positiv fanden wir die Lage – man kommt schnell in die Stadt und der Shuttle-Service funktioniert zuverlässig.

Cons:

Wir können die vielen positiven Bewertungen für das Hotel Calabona leider überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Unser Zimmer war ungepflegt und insgesamt eher heruntergekommen: fleckige Bettwäsche, fleckige Handtücher, ein unsauberes Bad, und viele Flecken auf dem Teppichboden – insgesamt leider kein angenehmer Eindruck.

Auch das Frühstück war für uns enttäuschend und ehrlich gesagt eher unappetitlich. Das Rührei war kalt und wässrig, die Croissants nicht lecker, vieles wirkte lieblos und insgesamt nicht gut. Die Auswahl war klein. Für frisch zubereitetes Omelett oder Rührei werden zusätzlich 5 € berechnet.

Der Poolbereich wirkte ebenfalls nicht besonders sauber. Im Pool-Bistro haben wir Mini-Pizzen bestellt, von denen eine komplett verbrannt war – kommentiert wurde das nur mit einem knappen „Sorry Madam“.

Auch das Personal haben wir insgesamt eher als unfreundlich erlebt. Das gesamte Hotel wirkt deutlich in die Jahre gekommen und entspricht aus unserer Sicht nicht den Bildern auf Booking.

Pros:

Bon hôtel. Personnel sympathique, places de parking pour les motos (15.- jour pour 2 motos). Chambres confortables et très bon petit déjeuner avec pas mal de choix. Une navette gratuite pour aller dans le centre d'Alghero.

Cons:

Un peux loin du centre à pied si vous ne prenez pas le bus navette. Cette dernière n'ayant que 8 places il ne faut pas être pressé. Nous y étions hors saison, mais je pense qu'hors saison il doit manquer sévèrement de chaises longues à la piscine.

Lovely hotel with huge pool within walking distance to town.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. The pool was great. Walking distance to town. Didn't want to pay for parking so parked on the road, which was fine.
