Nice place to stay
Pros:

The breakfast was centennial but good. The location was within walking distance of downtown. The room was the right size for the two of us.

Cons:

There wasn't anything that I didn't like.

Great location. Nice rooms. Good value.
Pros:

Room was really nice. Was ion a golfing trip with my son. Evenings in Carmel was great after a day of golf and didn't have to drive. Breakfast was solid enough and kept us going.

Cons:

Although Carmel is quiet - the room we had (66) was on the side of the trash BINs and they empty them at 5am each day and the trucks woke us every day. If it wasn't the trash truck it was trucks loading across the street at the stores. Breakfast was the exact same very day.
