Wonderful hotel not too far from Kyoto Station
Pros:

The hotel has a gorgeous lobby. The room was newly remodeled and very charming. The breakfast buffet was big and the food was good. People were friendly. As my wife caught a summer cold and did not want to venture out in the evening for dinner, it was very nice to have three restaurants on the premises. We ate at all three. I'd say the Japanese one was the best. The shuttle bus to Kyoto Station runs all day and it runs on time.

Cons:

The neighborhood is located in a bit of a dead zone for night life, restaurants, etc. There are a few convenience stores within walking distance, however.

Hotel perfecto
Pros:

Habitación amplia. El hotel tiene un bus que te lleva diariamente q la estación y viceversa gratuitamente, comodisimo porque desde allí te mueves q todos lados. Personal amabilísimo.
