Good, but the staff could have been more accommodating.
Pros:

The place is beautiful. The rooms were clean and not so small for Japan. The staff takes our luggages to our rooms when we arrive and we can easily send luggages to the our next trip from the front desk.

Cons:

Not very accommodating for allergies. The staff asked me to book the breakfast one day in advance because of my restrictions, which I did the next day. When I arrived to the desk, they told me that they would not have any option for me (I’m coeliac) and could not ask for some food directly from the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination. It was disappointing as in every hotel I went (high or low standing) people always found a way to order (at least some eggs) from the kitchen. I don’t know what the problem was here.

Furthermore, there were not a lot of places where I could eat breakfast nearby.

Overrated hotel
Pros:

Location- it’s close to the Kyoto station and hotel has a free shuttle bus from and to station every 30’.

Cons:

Hotel is overrated in this app. Room size in standard room was quite spacious for Japan, but bathroom was extremely small.
Only one coffee machine in breakfast restaurant which makes only espresso. So it was always crowded around.

Overall good value for the money.
Pros:

Very friendly staff, free hotel shuttle from and to the station. Great spacious lobby which gives you a real 5 star feeling. I also liked the hotel bar which has somewhat of a 60s vibe.

Cons:

A bit far away from the main attractions. You have to take the bus or a taxi to get there. Room interior was a bit dated. The room was also a bit too dark.

スタッフ対応が悪い
電話で受付する担当とフロントの連携が取れていなく朝食の料金が一般客と同じになった
一旦電話対応するシステムが無責任な対応を生じていそう

Pros:

Kostenloser Hotel Shuttle vom/zum Bahnhof Kyoto, dieser fährt 2 mal pro Stunde. Sehr umfangreiches Frühstücksbuffet. Ruhige und für japanische Verhältnisse ausreichend große Zimmer. U-Bahn / öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in Laufdistanz. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind somit zu erreichen.

Cons:

Teure Restaurants im Hotel - im Japanischen Restaurant wurden wir ohne Reservierung sehr unfreundlich abgewiesen.

There was no coffee. Just 1 station for such a large venue. And it was finished.
It was messy. Not kept in good order as you would expect.

The hotel is well adapted to Western standards. A special highlight was the shuttle service to and from the main station, running every 30 minutes, which made getting around very convenient.
