Beautiful Hotel
Pros:

Location was great and overall it was very clean.

Cons:

There was a parking fee of $23 a day I was unaware of. I also requested early check in and didn’t get in until almost 3 anyhow. I did not pay this last year and they told me it was new this year and I didn’t know bc I used a third party site.

Right in the beach
Pros:

Great location. Had a room with a view of the beach. Breakfast was nice.

Room had a funny smell and the gym was super small. If you have kids this is a good stay.

Could have been better
Pros:

This was a last minute reservation and first time staying at Fairfield. So I fully appreciate the very expensive price for one night (almost $500). However, for that price, I would expect everything to be on point. I was given a handicap room on the first floor. The design/layout of the bathroom can cause safety issues for an individual not in a wheelchair. Specifically, the water runs out of the shower onto the middle of the bathroom floor. While there is a drain in the middle of the floor it still can lead to a "slip-and-fall" scenario. The room itself was just ok at best, a lot of aesthetics that could be improved. The view of the oceanfront was mainly the shrubs/bushes just outside of the deck/balcony. The "amenities" being gym and indoor pool were not free. I found that interesting. A guest would have to pay $20/day to use it. That is on top of the roughly $20/day parking. Overall, I would say if the room was $100-$150, go for it. Anything higher I would recommend looking for another hotel.

Reservation for 2 rooms, was on opposite floors. Wish they were on the same floor, side by side. Not enough towels, wash clothes on double room

Top Lage. VA Beach unbedingt besuchen. Das ist ein Super Strand und für jeden ist etwas dabei zu sehen. Es ist wirklich eine sehr schöne Gegend
