Wouldn’t recommend for business purposes or athletes.

Cons:

I was situated room 310 above the out door bar area which was loud past 1am keeping me awake leading to poor sleep the night before a competition in Birmingham. I have complained direct with the hotel as my overall experience was shocking.

Cons:

Coach full of children turned up running up and down the corridors throughout the early hours of the morning staff weren’t much help and just seemed really dismissive. Pool is mediocre and very busy. If i’m paying extra for access to the pool i don’t expect it to be open to the public.

Good stay, would stay again if in the area.
Pros:

The room was excellent and the bar facilities were good. Bar staff good.

Cons:

Air conditioning needs to be installed as room was very hot and the little fan provided just circulated the hot air.

Great base for working in the area. Felt the Village is just nothing special anymore.
Pros:

We liked the location as it is near to where we needed to be. The bed was comfortable and clean. Evening meal was lovely, and the staff were excellent looking after us in the bar area. My husband said the breakfast was very nice too.

Cons:

We assumed the bedrooms would have air conditioning so in the heat wave it was difficult at 36 degrees. There was a fan in the room which was a Godsend. We were charged for two breakfasts although we only listed one was required and have not had time to pick this up with the hotel.
Outdoor seating is good but it would be nice to have a no smoking area designated to those who smoke.
I felt the hotel bedroom was in general need of an update.

Unfortunately there was no air conditioning and the room became unbearable to stay in even with the fan provided. Given how hot it has been throughout this week I would have expected extra precautions for the weather such as bottled water in the rooms and a conversation regarding there being no air conditioning but what measures could be put in place etc

Won't be using again after the bad experience of abuse.

Cons:

I was discriminated against in the swimming pool by a regular member because my children went into the fast lane to grab their ball. The woman was swearing at my kids and me and the staff just stood there and did nothing amd were not bothered. It put a downer on the whole trip
