No aircon hot in room

Lift was broken, no Air conditioning
I’ve always liked staying at the village. It’s clean and normally quite comfortable and it’s also easy for me to visit family who live close by and easy to get into Birmingham.
The morning after I arrived I found that there was no hot water. I wasn’t able to shower and it was even more of an inconvenience as I had my 4 month old grandson with me. I was also late to attend a wedding due to not being able to get ready on time. The day of check out I was told that I had not paid and I had to show my banking app to prove that I had paid this was quite embarrassing in front of other guests and I still didn’t get an apology or get to speak to the manager. I don’t know if I’ll be staying at the village again.
Great place really nice location the rooms are nice and spacious. Also the electric chargers are very convenient.
The car parking is a big secret I was unaware on check in you had to pay. The checking in machines are shocking! Very intermittent to the point I gave up and asked for a human.
The only downfall 2 staying here was the room was way 2 hot. There was a fan in the room but just didnt help really at all

Location was the only best thing.
The shower in our bathroom was for a disabled person, and I wasn’t told about this till I saw the bedroom, I then raised it with reception and was told they can’t do anything when I attempted to showered my child in there the whole bathroom got flooded and I was unable to use it after this. My husband was bitten by something whilst sleeping. The check in process took 25 mins as someone told me something else on the phone and then when I went in they disagreed with what was said on the phone.

Room was very hot, definitely would have benefitted from AC. Self check in/out was temperamental had to get a member of staff both times. Cleaners knocking on my door asking when I was checking out felt rushed to leave
The location
The room was extremely hot, no air on and the window hardly opened, there was an air con machine running below my room that was really noisy so I couldn’t sleep. The room was on the top floor and the lift was out of action. The bar and all tables were full of people remainders and I had to clean the table myself. The server I assume was the manager was really rude and left my drink at the Guinness pump at the opposite side of the bar I was being served at and had a really bad attitude when serving my for food even though there was still half hour left to eat.
Very nice we stayed on the night of our wedding. Basic for what you pay but it was okay
