Lovely villa in ancient city
Pros:

Beautiful grounds, comfy beds, spacious room. Delicious restaurant. Local city so quaint and lovely.

Cons:

They allow small children so got a little loud at pool and lunch.

Idyllic setting with super service.
Pros:

Pros:

Hotelul este în stil conac, foarte îngrijit și curat. Micul dejun excelent și diversificat . Piscina și șezlongurile un mare plus , de asemenea restaurantele deschise atât pentru prânz cat și cină. Camera deși la mansardă a fost spațioasă și curată.

Cons:

Pernele , deși sunt 2 nu am putut să dorm deloc pe ele .

Beautiful, comfortable, luxurious, thoroughly recommend.
Pros:

Beautiful building, lovely pool, friendly & helpful staff. Huge room with everything you could need.

Cons:

It isn’t close to walk into the old town, but I knew this & it didn’t matter at all.

Its a beautiful building in a nice location and it has so much more to offer.
Pros:

Thats it’s a beautiful historic building, featuring nice details and surrounded by stunning nature.

Cons:

I was disappointed that the history of the building was not properly highlighted, and we only learned about it after asking several questions. In addition, at the reception, instead of playing beautiful Italian music, they were playing modern American songs, which detracted from the atmosphere and aesthetics of both the location and the hotel.

What bothered me the most, however, was that upon our arrival they tried to place us in an inferior room that did not match the one we had booked. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common practice in many hotels.

Finally, the restaurant food was below average. And although I must acknowledge the staff’s kind efforts to make us feel at home by playing Greek music for us, that was not the experience we had come for. We had chosen this place to enjoy an authentic Italian evening, complete with Italian music and hospitality.

Pros:

Rooms were very clean. Breakfast had a lot of options. The restaurant in the hotel was pretty nice. The interior of the public areas of the hotel was pretty.

Cons:

Rooms didn’t really feel like a 4 star hotel. We also stayed at Hotel San Lorenzo which belongs to the same group and it was much better. Rooms had a weird smell. Even though they changed it one of the rooms still had a weird smell. Lastly, since the heater did not work when we asked for a blanket they told us to come grab it from the reception instead of bringing one upstairs.

Una location storica riadattata ad hotel perfettamente. Camere spaziose, pulitissime e letto veramente grande e comodo.

Een fantastisch top verblijf in het mooie Toscane!
Pros:

Een fantastisch hotel, met super vriendelijk personeel, zeer lekker ontbijt. Ook het restaurant is een aanrader.
Zeer verzorgd zwembad met een prachtige ligweide. De locatie is eveneens top. We hadden vier dagen een Vespa gehuurd en hebben genoten van het prachtige Toscane. In de buurt van het hotel liggen zeer leuke plaatsen, waaronder Siena, Volterra en San Gimignano.
We hadden onderweg een heftige onweersbui en kwamen kletsnat terug in het hotel. We werden geholpen met een droogrekje. Service top!

La colazione incredibile, la piscina per rilassarsi. Sembra di entrare in un paese a parte, intimo e perfetto per staccare la spina.

Cons:

La vicinanza alla strada, dalla piscina oltre a vedersi dei tralicci proprio sopra le nostre teste, si sentono auto passare di frequente.
