After speaking to the daytime employee of our experience the night before....We were moved to the 2nd floor away from the construction in the lobby and it had a shower head. They also refunded the 2nd night which was on a different reservation.
We prepaid and got a parking pass before check in as we were in town for a festival and notified daytime front desk employee we would be checking in after midnight. The night front desk employee had us waiting for a room for over an hour as there system "reboots for the next day after midnight," telling us it could be up to 3 hours wait. He turned another guest away, Ana from Berkeley, that had also gone to the festival saying that since she didn't pre-pay that her reservation was canceled....she Ubered 3 hours home!! We had a strange interaction with the night employee who kept getting distracted and making errors with his login and while making our keys. The hotel was under construction. There was no seats for us to use while we waited in the lobby. After an hour... the night employee offered a step stool for me to sit on. After 1 and 1/2 hours, We were put in a room next to the lobby that had no shower head and we could hear construction prior to 9am.
The location for this hotel was central. The hotel offers limited amenities because it is an extended stay site, but any kitchenware needed could be requested of the front desk and they would bring it up. Bed was good, bathroom fine, no shortage of hot water. Be aware they are starting a massive remodel.
Internet was awkward to get into-should be fixed because it is very solvable. A slip inside the key folio with the interest instructions would have saved frustration on my part
I have stayed here many times and its actually good for the price.
All is great , maybe better breakfast selections but overall great hotel!
Quit and comfortable
No coffee in room breakfast was muffins and granola bars....no pool ...TV is small and sits low...staff was not very friendly didn't even ask how our stay was or thank us for staying. Probably won't go back!

Exterior of hotel littered with cigarette butts and trash.
No soaps or cups or water in rooms. Sign in room stating we have to request after check in but we arrived late so very inconvenient. No one told us when we checked in which would have been helpful.
No ice available, told no ice machine since Covid.
Even the continental “Breakfast” was sparse with nothing fresh at all, only commercial pre-wrapped muffins and multi-grain breakfast bars.
It was quiet, close to my destination and the staff was friendly. The price was excellent.
Only one garbage can in the room.

It was okay
My boyfriend and his son said that The kitchen in the room should had plates, kitchen utensils, paper towels for the guest to cook . In my personal opinion, if there’s a kitchen like that in a hotel for guest to cook meals , I believe the hotel should supply those kind of kitchen items. Especially, if you are advertising as an extended stay. Also, there was no ice machine which to get fresh ice .
