Very nice and clean hotel in a great location.
Pros:

The location right in the gaslamp quarter which is full of bars and restaurants. It was also close to the marina. The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. Room are nice too. Good value for money especially for San Diego.

Cons:

Parking is valet at 70 dollars per day which seems like a rip off especially as there is a public parking nearby (unfortunately we only discovered this after!).

Pros:

Five stars for Thomas at the rooftop bar at Margaritaville San Diego! From the moment we sat down, he made the entire experience amazing. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, his recommendations were spot on, and his service was attentive, friendly, and fun the whole time. He truly went above and beyond to make our night special. Great vibes, great drinks, and even better hospitality - we can’t wait to come back!

Great location in the gaslamp. VERY dog friendly. Allowed everywhere at the hotel and can leave in the room. Has a great vibe. Pool was fun too.

Fun weekend with family close to the zoo and any of the things are within driving distance of 15 mi
Pros:

Good location close to a lot of restaurants and bars. And you’re close to the ocean for activities down there as well. Also, you’re close to the stadium if you like baseball.

Cons:

I don’t like what hotels are doing nowadays with Resort fees and parking situation. The amount they charge is ridiculous when you’re spending a lot for a room staying at the hotel.
