Stay Away
Pros:

I have traveled extensively around the world, and thousands of travelers read my reviews. I am sharing this experience because I believe prospective guests deserve to have all relevant information before deciding whether to book this property.

There are currently water shortage issues affecting the area, yet this was not disclosed on the property's website when I booked, nor was Expedia made aware of the situation. Had I known about the water issues beforehand, I would not have booked these dates.

Rather than cancel, I asked for what I considered a reasonable solution: allow me to move my reservation to late September. The property refused.

What has been most disappointing is the response from management. Based on my experience dealing with the management associated with this property, El Canario, and At Wind Chimes, I have not felt that my concerns as a customer were taken seriously or that there was any genuine effort to find a reasonable solution.

I have now asked Expedia to escalate this matter to its management team.

My advice to other travelers is simple: do your research very carefully before booking this property, particularly regarding current water availability and any restrictions that could affect your stay. I would not recommend booking here based on my experience. Travelers deserve transparency about conditions that may significantly affect their vacation before their money is taken, not after.

I come here every year and the experience just keeps getting better and better

They beauty, the history, the location, the atmosphere, the building itself is incredible the staff is absolutely amazing the pool is stunning especially at night. When you walk in the doors you feel like you are transported into another world

Cons:

The only thing I did not like is the fact that I didn’t choose to stay longer ….. I love everything about this place

Better wifi, and I stayed on the first floor close to the restaurant entrance, and it was horrible because I clearly heard EVERYONE, all day and night!

Amazing, will be back.
Pros:

Location, the pool, restaurant and a few steps to a great spot on the beach. I stayed longer on my trip and rebooked right back here. Honestly a place I’ll keep going back to on future trips to PR.

Cons:

The “hot” tub wasn’t always as warm as I’d like certain times. TV’s didn’t have the remote to the actual tv or at times the fire stick.
