Hotel Ella

Wonderful experience! Arrived late with delayed flight and valet went inside and got me a cold flask of water for my bedside. Everyone was very friendly and room was large and air conditioning worked great. Very pretty grounds and perfect location. Such a cute place to stay in Austin!

Cleanliness and historic details.

Oh my goodness! I don’t have enough words to express how much we loved our stay at Hotel Ella. We were in town for a wedding and picked this hotel for price and location. We were not disappointed! The Q/Q room was large enough for three women and our extensive luggage, the beds were comfortable and the room clean. My only room complaint was the bathroom mirror which was a bit like a funhouse and not very practical.

The staff were incredible too! The bell staff were quick with our luggage. The first night we needed extra hangers, ice and towels. Austii and the gentleman at the front desk brought them and told us some of the hotel history.

The next morning, we ordered room service. The lady that helped us was so accommodating of my sister’s many food allergies. They helped us figure out exactly what she could eat. The presentation was beautiful. She told us it was her second day - she’s a keeper!

The next morning, we went to the restaurant for breakfast. Again, the food was great! Lemon poppy pancakes!! Kelly, our server, was fabulous.

The property is beautiful and conveniently located near the UT campus, art museums and the capitol as well as so many other downtown attractions. We easily Ubered everywhere we went and could have scootered if desired.

I will definitely be back if I find myself in Austin again. Thank you all for a wonderful stay!

Too dated old polyester pillows loud A/C loud !! Blanket is hot no parking $ tv is dated no Netflix not smart tv no desk. I’ll go back to Marriott or Hilton this is not for me tv said it all. A/C blew so loud I had to leave early. Nice front desk but didn’t make up for A/c dated tv

It was a wonderfully atmospheric place to go and the rooms were great. The staff were brilliant, especially Raven! They really added to the joy of the experience. Would absolutely stay here again❤️

Cute and clean!

Pictures are not the same as our experience. Experience should have been better for the price. The Valet high fees not clearly stated were very unprofessional. Overall average experience for a 4.7 rated hotel.

Staying at Hotel Ella for two nights during a work trip, and it’s been a great experience so far. After a long travel day, the staff let me check in early, which made such a difference. Caroline and Austii were both incredibly accommodating and made the whole experience feel effortless. I ordered room service and the food was delicious. Took a much needed nap and felt completely refreshed, the bed is so comfortable. Highly recommend if you need a comfortable, relaxing stay.

As an avid traveler, I've distilled my taste down to a science. Hotel Ella has almost everything I could ask for.
The location is ideal- it's within walking distance of so many restaurants, several museums, and the capital. Once inside the property, it feels like an oasis in the mix of Austin.

Room- I stayed in a room with access to the pool and highly recommend it. I didn't have to worry about renting a cabana and had a small patio that was very convenient (especially with kids). The room was exceptionally basic which didn't bother me but just noteworthy for those looking for a more "aesthetic" living space.

Everything was tidy and the facilities felt well taken care of. The staff was so kind and friendly. Austii was gracious enough to allow me to check in early which is rare these days.

My only issue was room service - it was completely down one of the days I stayed and there was no digital way to order. It wasn't a big deal to call but one of my main reasons for opting for hotels with restaurants is the convenience of having things delivered.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will.be recommending I this place to everyone.

This Hotel is a great location for my visits to Austin to see family. The rooms are large and have everything you need. I was greeted by Armel at the valet stand. Always friendly and smiling. Austii and Caroline at the front desk, Michael, Christian and Max in the bar area are all very professional, fun, accommodating and made for a great week long stay! The pool is amazing! I highly recommend this Hotel Ella!

Austii was an incredible host, superb energy, accommodating and incredible. 10/10 experience. highly recommend.

Hotel Ella was an amazing hotel, I had this gentleman named divine I believe so helped me with my luggage and kept a fun conversation with me

Austii at the front desk was lovely and the hotel is very charming. My room had zero view - a concrete wall just a few feet from my Juliet balcony. Otherwise a good stay and certainly a convenient location.

Raven ,the women at the front desk was so polite and friendly to work with.
The server was busy so she got ice teas for us on the veranda. I asked about some drawings by an artist from UT She stopped what she was and took us around the building to the doors we could go in and check out the art.

Very relaxing, close to the action, great food. Amazing place for a short staycation.

Excellent customer service from the valet to the reception desk.
Enjoyed the cozy pool and morning coffee on the beautiful porch.
