Really nice stay at an amazing location
Pros:

We really liked the location.
The restautant (Vicinity) was good.
Very nice breakfast and view from the breakfast table.

Cons:

There was no airconditioning. The room was warm. We received a fan instead after asking.

Great location, poor hotel amenities

Cons:

Double standard rooms were completely inconsistent. We stayed for a wedding and there were 30/40 plus guests but all had different amenities which is very poor. We had no fridge, no gown and slippers, poorly working air-conditioning and a small room. Many guests had to ask to change/upgrade. The Vu Bar closed very early and was not prepared to serve residents after 12 midnight and always wanted you to leave asap, not welcoming. The Hotel needs a complete upgrade as not enough sockets, no USB ports and TV remote not working, not fit for purpose as a modern hotel. Reception area is being upgraded but very little space for guests. The location is the key to the success.
