Au final, ce n'est pas un mauvais hôtel et nous avons tout de même passé de bonnes vacances. Cependant, le rapport q
Pros:

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et le personnel a toujours été accueillant et serviable. La chambre était propre et l'hôtel est globalement bien entretenu. Le petit-déjeuner est correct et la situation permet de rejoindre facilement les environs en voiture.

Cons:

Au vu du prix payé, nous nous attendions à une prestation de meilleur niveau. Plusieurs points nous ont déçus : la salle de fitness est minuscule et très peu équipée, la table de Ping Ping inutilisable, les rangements dans la chambre sont insuffisants (seulement quelques cintres pour un séjour de deux semaines), l'animation est inexistante et la piscine est restée assez froide.

Le buffet du soir est également cher pour le choix proposé, d'autant que les boissons ne sont pas incluses. La navette gratuite est appréciable mais ses horaires sont très limités.

Sooo relaxing and enjoyable. Entertainment every night which was of a quieter nature but good also
Pros:

Our room was excellent on first floor with pool view. Lovely bathroon ensuite...with heated mirror even so waiting for steam to clear to dry my hair. Location was secluded which suited us perfect. Beach only a short walk but get ready for a bit of a climb (down) to the beach which may be difficult with smallies. Pool brilliant for the kids though, max depth was 1.6m.

Cons:

No milk supplied for cup of coffee or tea in room but this is only a very minor one.

Une arrivée décevante, heureusement améliorée par l’accueil chaleureux des jeunes serveurs.
Pros:

Ce que j’ai particulièrement adoré, c’est la gentillesse et l’attention de la femme de ménage qui s’occupait de notre chambre, ainsi que la sympathie des jeunes serveurs, toujours souriants et très agréables. Je tiens également à remercier tout particulièrement le manager de la réception pour son accueil et sa disponibilité. Toutes ces personnes ont vraiment contribué à rendre notre séjour encore plus agréable.

Cons:

En revanche, je trouve que l’hôtel commence malheureusement à montrer des signes de vieillissement et mériterait d’être davantage entretenu. Je pense également que l’annonce devrait être plus claire concernant l’interdiction de fumer sur les balcons, car ce point n’est pas suffisamment précisé. Enfin, le petit-déjeuner était toujours le même pendant toute la semaine ; un peu plus de variété aurait été appréciée.

Mixed Feelings
Pros:

Just returned from Hotel Baía Grande, we stayed with friends and the holiday had ups and downs. We knew before hand about the 3pm rule so we went prepared with a change of clothes. On allocation of room I was disappointed with the view (no I didn’t pay extra for a sea view on booking) I don’t mind a land view but to be on same level as car park and bins was not great, however I wondered what the smell was then realised there was damp on a whole wall, we stayed 1 night then I knew I couldn’t stay so I asked for another room, which was provided (after 3pm so luggage again in luggage room) went to reception at 3pm had to wait 20 mins more as 2nd room wasn’t ready, room was 2 doors down but the balcony could not fit 2 people on it 🤨 after speaking with rep the next day they did offer a 3rd room (smaller room same balcony!) I didn’t want to repack so we just stayed where we were and got on with our holiday, we were given drink vouchers for 2 , that was a nice touch.
The newly renovated bathrooms in the rooms were lovely, good showers etc

Hotel really needs to look at 2 areas ( in our opinion)
Sunbeds,,, for a 4 star hotel they are definitely 3 star quality & condition.

Quality of Alcohol in both pool & Main bar ! We felt like we were in a poor all inclusive bar but yet had to pay 💶 for not very good quality SuperBok or wine
( local bars and restaurants have much higher quality SuperBok for less )

Breakfast was really good, we loved the outside terrace.
Had a lovely relaxing full body massage at the Spa
Loved the area Sesmarias , and the hotel is in good location.
We won’t choose to return though sorry

Such a relaxing trip. Unsure if I would return....
Pros:

Positives: lovely pool bar staff and piano bar staff, rooms looked after daily, breakfast great especially the omelette. Lovely touch for birthday cake delivery.

Negatives: Do not expect earlier check in or any helpful/cheery check-in staff.... actually rude! No welcome at all. 'Passports?' was all we were greeted with. Worldcup was advertised all over hotel but they had a singer in the bar at same time plus the TV switched off in the middle of a game. Hold onto keycard for room or they will charge you 30euro on departure. Pool towels ready for bin! Piano bar staff lovely but no atmosphere. Ants in both our rooms!

Ubers are 6_12euro to old town. I would not go there with young children. More geared towards couples or girl/lad trips.
