When i got there I experienced the staff arguing with a retired couple who was checking out about keeping their 100.00 deposit because they check their rooms before they leave. And told them they smelt weed in room and they were not getting back deposit. The whole hotel smelled of weed. This is why I didn’t want to stay. I can’t stay in a hotel and smell weed my entire stay!! Disgusting!! How do you determine smell of weed in one room when it smells thru out the whole hotel. I spoke to the couple they don’t even smoke they were a retired couple Church going folks. I did not feel good about the arguing in the lobby as the police were called. I did not feel comfortable with giving my 100.00 deposit and they can come up with any excuse not to give you your deposit back. So I never checked in that was a red flag before checking in.

Let start with the front desk guy when we arrive the personal phone conversation was more important that to greet us.
Once we go to our room it did stink like cigarette
Bathroom towels were old & yellowish
No iron
Dresser and night stand had broken drawers
Noise all night on from the hallways and from the other rooms

Pros:

probably would’ve liked it if I actually stayed. they canceled my reservation without notice because they tried to charge my locked card prematurely before I even arrived. next time don’t advertise that we can pay at the property if that’s not the case. and also, a $100 security deposit for a motel is crazy.

The staff were kind. Would have liked a room facing the back because the road noise was extreme

Very affordable, however...
Pros:

Location was nice. Room had a fridge. Water was very warm. It is affordable for a holiday weekend.

Cons:

Lots of bad smells. Our room had mold on the bathroom ceilings. Spots all over the walls from who knows what.
Cigarette burns on the bedding. Walls are very thin. You hear everything. Beds are very firm and not the most comfortable. It was a bit small for us 3.
