Motel 6 Lancaster

In my 50 years of adult travel all over the world, racking up millions of miles, this was the worst hotel, and worst hotel experience I have ever had. It was so bad that we decided not to spend the 2nd night due to how bad it was. The 2nd worse hotel experience was back in 2005 when Motel 6 was our only option for my daughter's National Championship Women's basketball game with the Baylor Bears. We were surrounded by drug dealers and prostitution that kept us up all night. This was even worse in that it looked and felt like a government-paid homeless shelter. When we drove up it there were homeless, drug addicted Zhombie like people even out front. We had no other hotel options plus we paid for 2 nights already through Booking.com. Things got worse when we went into the room, which looked pleasant enough, but soon turned ugly when my wife went to use the bathroom and when she lifted up the lid, there was feces on the seat. The bathroom door wouldn't close or lock, the flooring was buckled in the bathroom and throughout parts of the room, and the faucet seemed to be possessed since it could turn about 360 degrees when using it. The carpet in the hallways looked like it hadn't been cleaned in decades. Just outside the side door where we parked there was a sign that said "No Smoking" within a certain distance. There were scores of cigarette butts under that sign. When I took our dog out for a walk, I had to go to another neighboring property because of all the trash and dog poop everywhere. Someone needs to go to this property from management and spend a night in the property. My wife would divorce me if I ever booked another Motel 6. We left a day early because she refused to spend the second night at this hotel. She also felt like there may have been bed bugs or lice in the room. She may have gotten 1 hours worth of sleep that night. I feel that we should get our money back since we got zero value from that room.

The ac vent had moldy candy in there must of been there for awhile, then are ac broke a few hours into are stay,not alone the cockroaches, definitely checked out

The road that it is on is very busy, even into late at night.

The hallways were dirty and the front desk clerk was not friendly or overly helpful.

We are senior citizens and the sheets on one side were soiled. We found a flange from the toilet on the floor in the bathroom and the drain in the tub went floating when we put water (in the tub). The ice machine wasn't working for the third visit. Asked the night recepsionist to put an Out of Order sign on it so guests would know; he did a very nice one, but when we were leaving a miracle ice was flowing. Spilt some water on the floor, wiped it up with a towel, and the towel was black. Customers walk in bare feet most of the time!!!!

In the room we found stuff from previous people that stayed so didnt seem as clean traveled with kids and the windiw in our room had like shard glass piece in it an then coming back in from leaving to the store we saw a cockroach near the door of the lobby to the hall the housekeeper in morning seemed harsh at first when politely adked for a couple more wash clothes as we had 2 n 4 people in our room they said couldnt have any there was no clean linens they had to do laundry

Toilet clogged the first day with no help. Not very clean. Roaches

The windows are thin heard cars and trucks driving by all night close to the highway. Also holes in the walls.
