Nice, but old
Pros:

No front desk, I liked the ‘boarding house’ feel. Suite was as expected, very spacious and clean. Location right on Colfax was very convenient. Neighborhood is beautiful, lots of big historic homes.

Cons:

Lots of windows in the room covered in ivy, nice but didn’t allow for much daylight. Ivy looked like it was coming through a window and crawling up the wall/ceiling. Hallway smelled of cigarettes.

Pros:

I loved it. So cute and cozy. Quiet!

Cons:

The neighborhood isnt the greatest. And the parking, we parked about 2blocks away which normally isnt bad but for 2females with lots of bags it is! Also the lighting is beautiful butbif you're going somewhere and need to get ready bring a mirror& light

Avoid at all costs.
Cons:

There were open street drug deals happing right out front as we arrived in our Uber. We were solicited by prostitutes as we walked up to the door. Inside was run down and not clean. It was so bad we booked somewhere else and elected not to stay.

Pros:

Quaint, room was nice, cozy. Love the antiques.

Cons:

Neighborhood is sketchy to say the least. I'm a big guy, and feel safe in most places, had to be on high alert while walking in the area. Literally was asked for narcan while leaving because someone across the street was overdosing.

Would definitely stay again!
Pros:

We arrived early and the property manager let us check in early without any extra charge which was so nice. The decor and theme are really cool. The beautiful chandeliers and antique pieces were such a vibe. We were there for a concert and the shuttle pick up was walking distance so that was great. Plenty of restaurants and a fun bar right down the street. Surprisingly quiet in the room despite the hustle and bustle going on outside.

Cons:

I have zero complaints. Only recommendation is to bring your own toiletries, which we forgot. While there are some provided they are very tiny tubes so between me and my husband we ran out after one shower. There is a 711 across the street so easy solve.

Location not safe. Do not recommend.
Pros:

The rooms are big and spacious with good amenities and overall clean.

Cons:

The chalet is located in the Colfax avenue which is crowded with homeless people and very loud and risky at night. I cut my hand with a piece of broken glass on the floor of the room while stretching. And when coming back to the chalet after my morning run a homeless was waiting in front of the door for me to do the code and manage to walk in. Minutes later at least 6 homeless in unusual state had entered and were blocking the exit. I got yelled at and spat on in the Airbnb. I am travelling alone and do not recommend this location to anyone who is travelling by themselves. Not safe.

Went for a concert. Would stay again.
Pros:

The location was interesting. Free parking a block or so away which was no big deal.
I liked the no contact check-in as well. Codes sent to email for security.

Pros:

I liked that it was affordable and had free street parking. I liked the historical charm of the building and room. I liked that they were responsive and allowed an early check in. The beds were comfy and the space was large. The maintenance man was friendly and took care of our needs.

Cons:

There were a lot of transient people up and down the block most were friendly but it was hard to walk passed people asking for money or other things was nicer a few blocks east. We definitely ubered late that evening.
