Pros:

De ligging, je bent midden in het centrum.

Cons:

Wij verbleven hier 7 nachten en helaas voldeed de kamer totaal niet aan wat je van een hotel in deze prijsklasse mag verwachten.

Bij aankomst bleek de deur van de kamer niet goed te sluiten. Dit werd pas na enkele dagen gerepareerd. De kamer was duidelijk niet schoon. De badkamer had schimmel, de douchekop hing los waardoor normaal douchen niet mogelijk was, de stop van het bad werkte niet en de algehele hygiëne liet te wensen over. Ook de klamboe had bruine vlekken die op bloedvlekken leken.

Daarnaast hadden we veel last van kakkerlakken die door de kamer en zelfs over onze spullen liepen. De badkamer en kamer vertoonden op meerdere plekken vuil en achterstallig onderhoud.

De privacy van de kamer was eveneens slecht. Vanuit de tuin kon je rechtstreeks het bad inkijken en vanuit de slaapkamer keek je eveneens uit op het bad, tenzij de gordijnen volledig gesloten waren.

Ook de service verliep moeizaam. De beloofde 10% korting werd meerdere keren niet correct toegepast en de rekening klopte verschillende keren niet. We moesten dit telkens zelf controleren en laten aanpassen.

Het hotel ligt direct naast het Monkey Forest. Dat betekent dat er regelmatig apen op het terrein en rond de kamers lopen. Hoewel veel gasten dit als attractie zien, is het belangrijk om te weten dat apen onvoorspelbaar kunnen zijn. Tijdens ons verblijf werd mijn dochter door een aap gebeten, waardoor we direct medische hulp moesten zoeken en een reeks rabiësvaccinaties nodig had. Wij vinden dat gasten hierover duidelijker geïnformeerd zouden moeten worden en dat er meer aandacht moet zijn voor de veiligheid.

Pas nadat we meerdere keren hadden geklaagd en uiteindelijk op dag 3 een uitgebreide schriftelijke klacht hadden ingediend, kregen we op de vierde dag een andere kamer. We ontvingen daarnaast een massagevoucher, een fruitschaal en uiteindelijk een compensatie van één overnachting.

Iv stayed there 3 times now and love the place i love the peaple thankyou to the lovly lady at reception.love the monkeys .I had a ground floor room this time which was lovly. But prefer uperfloor looking out over pools. Resteront was nice only one pool open this time buts thats ok
