This was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had.

When making my reservation, I accidentally forgot to include my 6-year-old daughter. We had booked a Junior Suite with a queen bed, and she would have slept in the same bed with us. Rather than simply charging an additional guest fee, if one even applied, the hotel insisted that we rent an entirely separate room that we had no intention of using. It was an obvious, honest mistake, yet there was no effort to find a reasonable or customer-friendly solution.

To make matters worse, when they were booking this completely unnecessary second room, they actually asked whether I wanted a more expensive room—even though they knew full well it would remain vacant for the entire stay. The fact that this was even suggested speaks volumes about where their priorities lie.

The extra room they assigned us was on the first floor, and the hallway had a strong fish odor that was impossible to ignore. It was a stark contrast to the third floor, where our Junior Suite was located and where the hallways were clean and odor-free. Thankfully, we never had to use the extra room, but being charged for a room in that condition only added to the frustration.

The attitude of the front desk staff made the experience even worse. They smiled, but it felt forced and insincere. Every interaction came across as pompous and condescending, with an underlying sense of disdain that made us feel like we were a problem instead of paying guests. Hospitality is about treating people with empathy and respect, especially families traveling with young children, and that was completely absent here.

The hotel itself may have some nice features, but customer service defines the overall experience.

De ligging is heel goed,mooie stranden,goede restaurants. Gratis parkeren voor de deur,let wel op als je in de middag aankomt moet je waarschijnlijk een paar rondjes rijden om een parkeerplaats te bemachtigen, veel mensen parkeren daar voor het nabijgelegen strand. Ontbijt is goed geregeld op de rooftop bar,waar je tevens in de avond ook heel goed terecht kan,wel even reserveren.

Insgesamt ein gutes Hotel mit guter Lage und sauberem Zimmer, jedoch mit einigen Mängeln bei der Ausstattung

Zimmer waren sauber, es wurde auch jeden Tag gereinigt; Strand ist nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet ist auch gut (Obst, Müsli, mehrere Brotsorten, Eier, Käse, Kuchen, Joghurt), kleines Market ist direkt neben dem Hotel, Zentrum ist 20 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt

Zimmer sind ein bisschen hellhörig, die Möbel sind ein bisschen abgenutzt, an den Laken und Handtüchern waren alte Flecken noch erkennbar, Seifen- und Shampoospender waren unbrauchbar – der Seifenspender funktionierte nicht und der Verschluss des Shampoospenders löste sich

Cons:

Quarto sem armários ou espaço para guardar roupas e malas. Lanchonete e piscina abertas ao público sem nenhum custo, o que fazia com que tivéssemos que disputar espreguiçadeiras e priodidade no atendimento com não hóspedes.

Great location and staff, bad amenities and comfort
Pros:

The location and staff are nice

Cons:

Smaller things, no hair dryer in room. Free WiFi was really bad. Couldn’t use it. Had to pay for a wooden spoon couldn’t borrow one. Lack of irons and no ironing boards. Side light you have to get out of bed to turn it off.
