Pros:

It was clean and the staff were friendly

Cons:

The bed was 2 beds put together. That’s pretty standard practice in hotels.
However, the left side of the bed was about 6 inches lower than the right. The bathroom was very dated. There were a lot of switches in the room that appeared to do nothing. There was only 1 lamp that worked in the bedroom.

We enjoyed our one evening there. Had a lovely meal in dining room with very helpful staff.

Excellent Staff, Hotel itself needs updating
Pros:

It was easy to find , straight off the motorway
Staff were friendly and helpful
Breakfast and Dinner were excellent and good value for money.

Cons:

The hotel was dated and the room would benefit from some refurbishing
Although the bedding and towels were clean, the room itself was very dusty.

Outstanding value for money. Bit of a hidden gem actually.
Pros:

Such good value for money. Great being just outside of Liverpool. Spa facilities were great I used the pool and sauna jacuzzi both morning and evening. Staff were very helpful. We ordered our food in the evening and brought to room which was great as it’s what we wanted. We paid £20 extra for late check out which was brilliant. Thick blackout curtains so I had the best sleep without waking and I am a light sleeper. The bed was unreal. Tv in the bedroom and in the living area. Absolutely outstanding for the money.

Cons:

Bathroom was a little tight but I got ready in the changing room of the pool which had showers, hairdryers dressing tables so I was very happy. My partner had breakfast which he said was fantastic so we were both happy.

Improve the housekeeping and I would return
Pros:

The location was good, easily accessible to the town. The hotel facilities were good, I liked the gym good size and equipment. The room location was very convenient from reception and to access the gym.

Cons:

No drinking water in room. Poor housekeeping - the room was not serviced I had to ask and still there was no service until next day which was still only the bin emptied and replaced the towels. They neglected to replenish the toiletries and the TV remote was extremely dirty. No attention to good hygiene standards.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the room and I will definitely revisit in the future.
Pros:

Hotel rooms are fantastic, however, lounge area could do with a brighter light, as not good for working in. Bathroom shower is outdated and hard to use. Apart from that we had a lovely stay, staff are very helpful and friendly.

Great stay
Pros:

Ideal location close to family. Stayed for two nights. Breakfast included which was fine. Family had evening meal for 10 of us and the food was great. I have stayed here before and will stay again.

Cons:

Mix up with the bookings but it was booking.com not the hotels fault. Hotel soon sorted it so no problems.
