Hilton Saint Augustine Historic Bayfront

In all of my stays, which counts well into the hundreds and fortunately includes a few 5-star properties, I’ve yet to encounter someone as personable as JC at the front desk. From the moment we arrived today, he made my family and I feel like VIP guests. We’d just gotten in after a morning flight and a long drive up in a rental car, and my toddler was already over the day. JC interacted with my son as if he were his own family, bringing him crayons and things to color on and even hanging my son’s artwork up by the front desk while we were down there. It was adorable and memorable, and my son doesn’t typically warm up to people quickly but they became friends in a matter of minutes. This is what the hospitality industry should be, and my wife and I are so appreciative that it led me to write this review. Keep up the great work!

Hilton St. Augustine Historic Bayfront location has great views of Matanzas Bay and the Bridge of Lions. We came here for July 4th weekend and were not disappointed. Unfortunately the balcony rooms on the Bayfront were unavailable, so we booked a corner balcony room overlooking the historic district buildings and iconic streets filled with boutique stores. We were on the second floor overlooking Charlotte Street/Treasury Street. We could hear the live music from the Saints restaurant next door at night. Very little car noise at night.

Public street parking maybe hard to find during busy times such as July 4th weekend and the lots were slightly expensive. Luckily most restaurant and local attractions were walkable so we left our car in the hotels, where the valet was also expensive but convenient. You can also buy a ticket to the Hop off and Hop on trolley right at the Hilton front desk, which takes you to the different tourist attractions that was slightly farther away.

For July 4th, the hotel had a BBQ in front of the hotel. It was nicely done. The staff went above and beyond to make the event enjoyable for the guests. Tents were set up for outdoor seating, to eat grilled food, drink and listen to music. At night, you can see the fireworks right outside the hotel.

Highly recommend and would definitely come back to this hotel when we visit St. Augustine again.

Perfect Location!!!

We had a wonderful time at this Hilton. The customer service was exceptional. My wife and I are on a road trip from South Florida Washington DC stopping multiple times at various Hilton. We can both highly recommend this Hilton.
A special shout out for Brett, who clearly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable I wish all of our Hilton experiences could be this good

Beautiful property walking distance to town. Very nice rooms and breakfast was exceptional. Music in the evening.

A great hotel with an amazing staff! The "gatekeepers" of any great resort hotel are the folks on the counter checking you in. The ones here were amazing! JC and Beverly checked me in on Sunday and Beverly was there Monday and easily processed 27 trolley tickets while she seamlessly checked guests in and out of the hotel and never missed a beat or batted an eye. Chris Quinlin made all our arrangements and Victor assisted with all our IT requirements. Thanks too, for the super valet parking folks and food service folks! So, a very hearty "Thanks" from our Veteran group of about 39 folks... everyone was very pleased with the hotel and staff. Thanks and SALUTE!

Cute historic looking hotel in a fantastic location to explore the historic area. The rooms are small but the staff is friendly. Our first room had problems with the A/C leaking but they moved us quickly with no problems.

Hotel is in the absolute best location. Right in the center of old town. You literally walk out the door and you are in the middle of it. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean, large, lots of storage and a/c works well. We mentioned we thought maybe our room might get noise from the outside road and they immediately offered to move us. We moved to room 117 and it was very quiet. Breakfast is very good and the little bar is great. If you want a view ask for a second floor front facing room. We would highly recommend and will most definitely come back.

Bit of story….we stayed here last night. I had a rough night & couldn’t sleep. I went to the lobby @ 4am, Chris was at the desk and offered to make me coffee & I agreed. After an hour I wanted to go back to bed & had forgotten my room key in the room. He made me another card to get back in no problem whatsoever. At 8am I went back to tell him thank you in person but he had already left. He was so accommodating & nice to me. Altogether it was a great experience. I very much recommended this place. Good people & very personable.

Overall this is a very nice hotel.
No coffee until 7 AM, though? Gimme a break.

We stayed here for a short getaway recently. The rooms were a nice size with plenty of room to move around. I chose a view of the bay, and as nice as that was, the street noise may bother some, especially at night.
We found the staff to be courteous and accommodating.
The location is perfect for perusing the old town area and easy to navigate from if you wished to go on side trips.
