Bit of story….we stayed here last night. I had a rough night & couldn’t sleep. I went to the lobby @ 4am, Chris was at the desk and offered to make me coffee & I agreed. After an hour I wanted to go back to bed & had forgotten my room key in the room. He made me another card to get back in no problem whatsoever. At 8am I went back to tell him thank you in person but he had already left. He was so accommodating & nice to me. Altogether it was a great experience. I very much recommended this place. Good people & very personable.

No coffee until 7 AM, though? Gimme a break.
We stayed here for a short getaway recently. The rooms were a nice size with plenty of room to move around. I chose a view of the bay, and as nice as that was, the street noise may bother some, especially at night.
We found the staff to be courteous and accommodating.
The location is perfect for perusing the old town area and easy to navigate from if you wished to go on side trips.
This is my second time staying here and every time we come to St. Augustine, we will stay here. It is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Very clean and the staff is great! I would highly recommend it!

I’ve stayed here many times however this is the first time I’ve stayed since the renovations. I’m not sure how I feel about that. The fountain that was in the middle of the entrance is gone. The wall that separated the dining area from the lobby is gone. I miss that because it was a good separation for the two. The bar has been moved. All of the old charm is gone. The new bar is I guess modern. I’m just disappointed with the overall aesthetics. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The room was clean however I notice before taking a shower that the shower curtain had been ripped in two spots. I was told by the morning staff she apologized but just said yeah, it’s a special order???? Okay well then special order it. Starbucks is the same. It was a good starter to the day. Breakfast was amazing as always. However they need to expand their menu for dinner. I miss the prime rib. I would stay here again as always I just hope as they continue with their changing of the hotel that they keep the charm.
Excellent location, Hotel very welcoming, room very clean and bed comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good, Wouldn't change a thing. Look forward to returning.

Central to everything. Did not need a vehicle because of this. Would definitely stay again. It appears they will be remodeling the hotel even though it didn't feel dated.
Sleeping was difficult because of the one sewer grate along Charlotte street happened to be outside our room. Every time a vehicle went over the grate it created a loud bang sound.
We just returned home from a lovely 2 night stay at this beautiful property! The hotel is right on the main boulevard across from The Bay. Everything is within easy walking distance from the hotel, Restaurants, Shops, Trolley Tours, Attractions, etc. The hotels location just can't be beat! We were able to just park in the hotel valet area and not have to move the truck for our entire stay. The employees there in room service, front desk, valet, and housekeeping, were all so nice. The room was beautiful and we loved our Bayfront View with amazing balcony! The only thing we could possibly complain about, is if you like a softer pillow top type mattress , you will probably not like the mattresses here! They are very stiff and too firm for our liking. They were much better and softer, years ago when we stayed! We did not get much sleep this time due to the hard mattresses. Otherwise we love this hotel and hope they go back to the older mattresses they had on our last visit. We will definitely return and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St. Augustine! They have a very nice pool and hot tub area as well.
