Nothing!!!!!
They charged double time, I payed already on 3 January 2026 for the room, on the arrival they asked for a credit card so my friend gave her credit card and they finaly charged double time to price of the room, since 18 April we are waiting for that money back after so many calsl and email we have nothings, we contacted Booking then they contacted them as well, still nothing come out ! We hoping getting our money ASAP! Is unacceptable to say yes we gonna do something and then nothing at all, on a big trip in Us be charged twice is something mesurable on a budget. Avoid totally this place !
Chambre très spacieuse, avec un personnel très aidant.
The hotel is kinda nice , but I don't see the huge deal. May be Because it's somewhat historic. I got there within the check in time in my room wasn't ready for almost an hour after I arrived. When I got in there was a few things in the bathroom that looked rundown in the bed area slipped and slide it all over the floor I almost fell a couple times. They were doing construction again. The restaurant wasn't open the gym wasn't open and the other people that were in the hotel kept slamming doors and going up-and-down the hall like maniacs, I told the front desk about this and all they did was, say, sorry, I would hope that something would have been done to tell the people in the hotel that other people are here, and they'd like a little bit of peace, but that was not the case. Anyway, after staying at the Carlton for the first time, I won't stay there again. You had to park across the street to be at the hotel which I thought was.I mean , after a hotel being there for so long you think they'd have their own private parking.
Construction
Everything! The location, the room, the staff, all were great!
Nothing
When you want to get to know a city, the best option is to stay in a great, downtown hotel: that’s what the Carlton offers visitors to Atascadero
There was nothing I disliked about the Carlton Hotel
Loved the decor and color scheme!! Glorious gorgeous glamorous
Front desk had problems running my credit card. It took 30-40 minutes and it didn’t work. I had to return a couple hours later after they figured out the “new system.” The staff were very friendly about it
So booked hotel through their website. Got a confirmation number and a greeting from the general manager. Show up and no rooms no help and told us to go on our way. They even charged my credit card. Don’t go here unless you want to be unsure if you have a booking. Never experienced anything like this before!!! Go rlsewhere
Le dècoration et la taille des chambres les volumes et l’impression d’etre dans l’histoire unique !!!
La climatisation est dèfèctueuses elle me s’arrete jamais , du bruit de ventilation toute la nuit ….
The staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable
I've been staying at the Carlton Hotel for the past 13 years. It's been consistently a pleasant experience. The rooms are large with nice amenities. The hotel rooms are currently undergoing renovation. I preferred the previous look which reflected the period of the hotel. For the quietest experience, request a room facing the courtyard or the back of the hotel.
Bed was comfortable and room was so spacious! Everything recently updated. Great location, easy parking, fun to walk around the town.
Elevator is old/very slow. We took the stairs a lot, which is totally fine, but flagging in case you need easy accessibility. Some construction in the restaurant/bar associated with the hotel. It was not noisy or anything, but once it's ready it will be fun to use the new spaces.
Very comfortable. Loved the decor.
Nothing. Stayed there twice so far. Will stay there again in April.
AC is always not working!!
