Für Burg Liebhaber;-)
Pros:

Ist schon besonders in einer Burg.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war mir viel zu heiß und der Ventilator hat nicht wirklich viel gebracht. Durch die kleinen Fenster fand ich es etwas beengt aber das geht ja nicht anders in einer Burg. Man muss es nur wissen,

Location and ambience perfect but room and restaurant quality not as expected

The breakfast wasn’t good, definitely not worth €20 per person

Cons:

More staff, better quality of food and drink, choice of food rather just a very bad quality buffet. We told staff member on checkout how bad it was with no reaction or apology

Return visit to the fort for great accommodation
Pros:

This was a second visit at the fort. Superb quality hotel with helpful staff. Book the Michelin star restaurant when you book, it's excellent. Secure parking for motorcycles. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Smallish rooms but fine. In our room, one socket didn't work, a problem for all our chargers etc.

Pros:

Le fort et la visite. La beauté du lieu et l'architecture de l'hôtel.

Cons:

Nos deux précédents séjours étaient de bien meilleure qualité. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas digne d'un 4 étoiles, il vaut tout au plus 2 étoiles et ne vaut pas son prix, de plus pas de possibilité d'avoir une liste des allergènes. Dans les chambres, problèmes de douche et de porte durant notre séjour.

Mooie en bijzondere locatie voor een (kort) verblijf.
Pros:

De locatie is mooi, wel bijzonder om in een oud kasteel te overnachten!
Restaurant in het kasteel aanwezig.
Goed gemoderniseerd.

Cons:

Weinig op te merken behalve dat het water van de douche niet warm was.
Kan toeval zijn.

Voor een nachtje de moeite waard.
Pros:

De locatie was heel apart. Binnen de muren van het kasteel is een bijzonder verblijf. Dinner was in tegenstelling van de slechte beoordelingen wel goed. 32 euro voor een menu is speelt daarbij een rol want in Nederland gaat je dat vrijwel nergens meer lukken. Personeel erg vriendelijk.

Cons:

De kamers zijn echt veel te warm. Het was overdag 28 graden buiten en ik denk in de kamer ook. Als het buiten nog warmer is wordt het waarschijnlijk ondraaglijk. Ontbijt erg karig.

Pros:

Le côté atypique de séjourner dans un château ! Emplacement incroyable et château fort a visiter très sympa!

Cons:

Pas de climatisation. Repas correct mais pas exceptionnel. La ville de Sedan pas terrible.

Lovely historic Fort Hotel - too many steps
Pros:

The room itself was nice, it was clean, had a large living area & a mezzanine bedroom.

Cons:

Too many steps to climb. The lift did not go all the way to our room. We had to get help to carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs once we had taken the lift to as far as it went. Both my wife and I have bad knees and this was a killer for us. We asked if we could change room, but were told we could not.

An interesting historic building…
Pros:

Amazing historical building with courtyard.
Lifts available but in some cases stair access is needed too.
Beautiful room, although not air conditioned, we were supplied with three fans/ misters in the extremely hot weather.
Great to have a fridge with some complimentary drinks and snacks.
We only used the downstairs Bar area where a small selection of meals were available.

Cons:

Little to no Vegetarian food available… I did enquire at Reception.
