Pros:

Beautiful hotel w outside garden and restaurant within the hotel. The rooms were stunning and they had AC and large TV. Bathrooms were a good size. Quiet

Cons:

No elevator but staff helped w luggage but if you can’t handle stairs we’ll reconsider this hotel.

A truly beautiful place to stay in Porto
Pros:

On arrival at Menina Colina you find yourself in front of an extremely large, imposing front door on a busy street. However open the door and you are in an elegant oasis of calm and tranquility. The building's interior is glorious and the staircase so impressive. Our room on the first floor overlooking the garden was enormous with a beautiful high ceiling. We felt like royalty in such grand surroundings. The staff were very helpful and breakfast delicious. Highly recommended.

Cons:

Building work going on next door made sitting on our balcony a little noisy. However with so much to see and do on Porto we didn't spend much time out there!!

It’s location and history. Beautiful place . The breakfast was delicious and loved the fado too.

Pros:

Wir durften zum zweiten Mal hier zu Gast sein und haben uns wieder rundum wohl gefühlt.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Zimmer individuell ausgestattet und komfortabel. Der Service ganz hervorragend und freundlich. Wir durften unsere Koffer für die Zeit, die wir auf dem Jakobsweg verbrachten, unterstellen.

Zudem können wir noch das Restaurant, welches im Hause ein köstliches, frische zubereitetes Mittagsmenü anbietet, wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir kommen gerne im nächsten Jahr wieder, wenn wir den Rest des Jakobswegs in Angriff nehmen wollen.

Vielen Dank nochmals an die aufmerksamen und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter des Hauses.

Tranquility in the middle of bustling Porto.
Pros:

The guesthouse is a beautifully redecorated old townhouse. We stayed in the garden room, which is very spacious with its own private part of the garden. But also the rooms inside the guesthouse are tastefully decorated and spacious. Breakfast is exceptional. And the staff is super friendly.

Very comfortable stay in a beautiful
Pros:

Delicious breakfast menu served in very pleasant dining room. Fresh juices, homemade cakes, a range of cooked main courses from excellent egg dishes to pancakes.

Cons:

We would have liked a change of towels but appreciate the need for energy conservation

I had a wonderful stay. my balcony overlooked the rear garden from the second floor. the room was huge & tastefully

it’s unfortunate that there are 3 big rubbish bins out front. nothing to do with the guesthouse. but detracts from the front of the property.

Nice rooms, skip the breakfast.
Pros:

The garden house is a nice space, good mix between apartment and hotel. Great for families with kids, who can play in the garden. Possibility to get take away food is nice too.

Cons:

Check-in was slow and chaotic. Breakfast was slow, and not worth the money. It was very disappointing, portions were small, food was uninspired. They wouldn’t let me book the breakfast ahead of time, and then tried to make us pay a la carte prices.
