Nice rooms, skip the breakfast.
Pros:

The garden house is a nice space, good mix between apartment and hotel. Great for families with kids, who can play in the garden. Possibility to get take away food is nice too.

Cons:

Check-in was slow and chaotic. Breakfast was slow, and not worth the money. It was very disappointing, portions were small, food was uninspired. They wouldn’t let me book the breakfast ahead of time, and then tried to make us pay a la carte prices.

Lovely building and staff, perfectly positioned to explore Porto.
Pros:

We were a bit disappointed when we arrived as the house next door is being rebuilt and there is noise from the building work, but the lovely Menina Colina team couldn't have been more helpful and moved us to a better room for no extra charge.

The breakfasts are excellent too.

Cons:

As above, the building work next door. But it's not really intrusive (when we were there at least).

Central to the city sight, quiet, safe, awesome staff.
Pros:

Its a boutique hotel, so ofcourse you pay more.
but the rooms were excellent, breakfast was great.
the staff was the best !!!
the reception helped me locate a jacket left on the plane. went out of her way to help me. appreciate that.
the breakfast servers were excellent. remembered your order. very friendly. including breakfast in room rate was an excellent idea. i was also upgraded to the terrace at no charge.

Cons:

No elevator but Felipe was very very kind helping with the suitcases up and down the stairs.
had one small issue with the terrace door and felipe came right away and helped solve the matter.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen und doch ruhig, das Essen super gut, frisch zubereitet, das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus sehr schön, da es wunderbar alt ist, auch etwas ringhörig.
