Cons:

I had requested smart t v upon booking confirmed check in. They put me on the 7th floor where I know they do not have smart T.Vs, the lady said, I was wrong.But once again I was correct. It would not be a big deal but portuguese is my second language and I needed this time to relax after a week of translation and got none.

Pros:

Spacious and comfortable room, amazing views of Manaus, very friendly and welcoming staff, excellent breakfast! The girl at the reception, Grazy, was so helpful and nice, spoke perfect English which made it so easy to get answers to questions and she made our stay at the hotel even more comfortable.

Cons:

Uma lata de água custar 12 reais, uma cerveja os olhos da cara, um café no front é em cápsula e também custam um rim.
A localização é péssima pra quem vem a turismo.

A localização é central, os funcionários eficientes e prestativos. O quarto é ok, vê-se que é uma construção mais antiga mas tudo funcionou. O banho é excelente

Overpriced, not central and not great

Very very overpriced. The girl who checked us in ( pink hair ) was not very friendly. She originally said she had no booking under my name and when I showed her my booking.com confirmation she just said ok fine. She gave us no information on WiFi, where the pool is, breakfast, check out etc; and seemed inconvienanced when I asked. My partner who is Brazilian paid first and was charged the correct amount but then our card did not work - when I retried ( I am not Brazilian ) they overcharged us by a significant amount. Maybe this was because we were tourists? As we experience this in tourist places in Brazil but did not expect it here. Anyway, this really turned us off. When I queried it the solution was added credit to our room. We used the credit to buy cocktails which were also overpriced, we spent the amount of credit we had but a 10% service tip was added on - seems like a trick to spend more money at the hotel. It’s also not near the centre and the area is not very safe to walk around. The rooms are ok but nothing special for the price. No toiletries, no water, no robes - for the price you’d expect at least water in the room, especially considering you cant drink the tap water here! We wouldn’t return. There is much better value for money in manaus.
