Categories

Cleanliness
8.2
Mostly reported as clean and well kept in multiple reviews ('very clean', 'clean rooms'), with a single comment about floor polishing causing slipperiness at breakfast.
Service
8.6
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, helpful and attentive across reviews (multiple shout-outs to reception and helpful staff).
Location
9.2
Consistently praised as central and convenient ('great location', 'close to city centre', easy walk to Temple Bar); frequent mentions of being above/next to nightlife explain high convenience but also noise exposure.
Room Quality
5.8
Mixed to negative: many reports of small rooms, tiny showers, poor shower fittings, small/far TV, rooms described as 'like a sauna' in hot weather and some underground/stuffy rooms that affect comfort.
Amenities
6.8
Mixed amenities: good breakfast and bar/restaurant decor noted, but recurring negatives around lack of air conditioning in hot weather, occasional no-WiFi report and limited in-room facilities (fan sometimes provided as ad-hoc).
Value for Money
7.2
Mixed perceptions: several guests described good value and reasonable pricing, while others felt price was not adequate for the standard and noted small extra charges/poor coffee.
Food and Beverage
8
Generally positive breakfast feedback (tasty, good choices, reasonably priced), though isolated criticism about poor/weak coffee.
Overall Experience
7
Overall mixed stays: very good location and helpful staff balanced against noise issues and room comfort problems (heat, size, shower), producing a moderate overall impression.

Great location. Lovely room. Fab breakfast.
Pros:

The room was so spacious for 3 of us staying the night especially for a Dublin hotel. Great atmosphere in the bar. The breakfast in the morning was delicious with plenty to choose from.
