Exceptional luxury with focus on the environment not wasteful excess
Pros:

Huge selection for breakfast. We had to leave early one our check out day and staff let us pack a lovely breakfast for the evening. The lounge access was a great addition with stunning views, nibbles and drinks.

All staff were exceptional - friendly, attentive but gave us space too.

Excellent except the toilet issue that I mentioned

everything except the toilet

Cons:

The toilet was smaller than what we would expect for a hotel of this size and grandeur. Please improve the quality of the toilet seats. The plastic seat feels thin and low-quality - very uncharacteristic of a 5-star hotel. In addition the toilet seat of the room we stayed in gelt slightly tilted

Pros:

Dinner was hopeless in the Restaurant and the food was tasteless at Peshawari.

Cons:

Decor, Staff and we had a prior booking and lots of tables vacant in the Restaurant and still we were forced to sit in an uncomfortable table facing the entrance doorway of the restaurant.
Useless Staff and they looked Busy amongst themselves.

A lovely hotel, with attentive staff and a good breakfast
Pros:

The check in process was easy, the staff were accommodating. The pool was beautiful. Breakfast was varied and the staff helped with anything I wanted.

Cons:

The gym was really small and it was hard to find space even if just 5-6 people were in side.
Also the hotel felt quite 'old' in terms of finishes and fixtures.
The pillows were overly soft and difficult to find comfort on.

Comfortable Luxury.
Pros:

You rarely come across a hotel in a big city which is as warm, cosy and relaxing as the ITC Grand Central.
There is old world charm in the architecture matched with all the creature comforts ( including connected Smart TVs), and yes Dakshin, which is the #1 South Indian restaurant by miles. The Signature Kaya Kalp Spa is amazing ( the 1.5 hour Kaya Kalp therapy is amazing).
You are in the heart of the city but its nestled in a quiet corner with no blaring traffic noises.
The staff lead by it's affable GM Kunal Pahwa is all the way ITC - warm and courteous.
For a city break, this is highly recommeneded.
This to my mind is what comfortable luxury feels like.

Coffee shop closed too early. Couldnt get a snack at 9.30pm
