WARNING - SCAM HOLDING CHARGE

They scammed for for an extra 10_000 INR
They put an extra holding charge on my card, and told me that they would only take the amount for the stay. They took the whole amount.
60 days of arguing and finally booking.com refunded me - but they constantly deflected and delayed. Just disgusting behaviour - will NEVER stay at an ITC property again

Cons:

What truly disappointed me during my stay at the ITC was the so-called “temperature protocol” in the room. Despite having full AC controls in Suite 2212, the system simply wouldn’t allow the temperature to go below 21.5°C at night and 22.5°C during the day — even though the panel beautifully displays options till 18°C, giving guests the illusion of control.

What felt even more ironic was that in the restaurants, the staff proactively offer shawls because it’s uncomfortably cold while dining… yet in the room, guests are denied the comfort of choosing their own sleeping temperature. I couldn’t even think of using the blanket at night because the room simply never got cool enough.

If the hotel wishes to decide what temperature I should sleep in, perhaps they should also decide what I should eat and drink during my stay. Luxury is about comfort and personal preference — not centrally controlled discomfort disguised as policy.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel, excellent service - they even had a wheelchair available for my father. Fantastic breakfast. Rooms are large and clean with all the amenities. Good location - if you have business to do in Parel.

Birthday staycation
Pros:

Had an amazing stay at ITC Grand Central. This was our first staycation at the property, which I had booked for my wife’s birthday at the last minute. I connected with Sagufta from Guest Relations and informed her about the occasion. She made it truly special with beautiful décor, a birthday cake, and warm wishes during check-in that made my wife’s day even more memorable.
Everything throughout the stay was very well taken care of. breakfast spread was excellent, and Sagufta also arranged a room with a lovely view for us. Overall, the hospitality and experience were outstanding, and we will definitely plan to visit again.
A special thanks to Sagufta for handling everything so perfectly despite the last-minute planning.

Awesome
Pros:

The breakfast was good, the hotel is very clean, the staff is very helpful. I had travelled with my infant, the hotel staff gave a nice gift for her. The baby Cot provided was good.

Cons:

The rooms are tiny comparatively to other 5 star hotels i have stayed in.

A beautiful hotel with great staff and facilities
Pros:

The hotel itself is a beautiful building and the staff on arrival and all through my staff were excellent. Rooms are clean and the Gym facilities top notch.

Cons:

Buffet breakfast and lounge food was okay, but not the best I have had in comparison to similar hotels across India. Unfortunately, the cost of in room dining was high in comparison.
