Very nice room. Small but for only one night it was ok. The shower was very good.

Couldn’t fault the Property
Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and a spacious carpark. There are visitors landmarks in the walking distance.
All the staff we have encountered were absolutely lovely - very friendly, approachable and helpful - this includes reception, bar, restaurant, breakfast and cleaning staff.
The room was great - well decorated with all the necessary amenities. It was clean and we were able to open the window (what a rare thing)!
We had dinner at the hotel and it was both very delicious and a great price for what it was. The bar was well stocked and overall we were very happy with our dinner.
The biggest disappointment was breakfast - options were quite minimal and the quality of the was medium. We had enough to eat, but overall it was not very exciting and next time I would go have breakfast outside of the hotel as i was not able to source a decent coffee :(
I must also note that overall the rooms are quite warm. We slept with an open window and even in September we would have liked it to be cooler. There are little fans in the room, but no aircon.
The hotel general areas (hallways, lift, dining area) are a bit dated. The room felt much nicer, but common areas are just a bit tired.

Location and the grounds
The location was perfect for us to break our journey from the north of Scotland. The shower was excellent.
The room was small and the breakfast didn’t provide all the selection on the menu. I also felt the public rooms were in need of care, stained furniture and chipped paint etc.
