The hotel management couldn't care less
Pros:

Due to an unexpected event (out of my control) I was forced to cancel the reservation just a few hours after the free cancellation deadline, and contacted the hotel 24h before arrival, as the booking was already prepaid by OTA.
Unfortunately, although the agency was willing to refund the whole amount (after the hotel had agreed), the management couldn't care less. They didn't accept any of the alternatives proposed (half/full refund, date changes or credit towards future travel), nor did they offer any solution but to push the problem back to the agency and look away.
I completely understand that some rules must be followed, but their total lack of empathy, transparency and willingness to sort something that simple was astonishing. They seemed completely unfazed by the situation.
I am deeply disappointed by their hostile approach.

HABIA CONTRATADO UNA HABITACION CON BALCON CUANDO SUBI ME HABIAN ASIGNADO OTRA HABITACION SIN BALCON Y 4 CAMAS. RECLAME Y ME PASARON A LA QUE CORRESPONDIA. HUBO UN CORTE DE LUZ UNO DE LOS DIAS PARA REPARACIONES PERO NO COMPENSARON NI CON DESCUENTOS NI NADA ESPECIAL. Location is ok.

Kindly explain logic of not giving refill of water & Tea/coffee from day 2? Say only provide on day 1. So do we book a 4 day stay into 4 parts?
Also room was very small & you did not have space to put chair in front of the desk.

No Baggage storage room, so all luggage is kept at reception.

B'fast is same on daily basis, thought quality is decent.

Hotel needs renovation on an urgent basis.

Paper glasses in rooms for tea/coffee & call yourself a 4*. Shameful.
