Glorious air conditioner in the midst of a crazy hot summer. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Lovely staff
Slightly smaller than I thought it might be but this wasn’t a big deal. Still plenty of space.
We had specifically requested & paid more for a twin room (so father & daughter did not have to share a double bed) and on arrival were told that due to renovations this was not possible. Disappointing.

The room was large and looked recently refurbished and was spotless. The location was fantastic and really close to Baker Street tube station. The air conditioning worked really well and kept us cool all night.
We came back to our room at around 14:30 to rest on day one and found our room being cleaned, which was odd. Had to wait for them to finish. Next day had a knock on the door at 16:30 asking if we wanted the room cleaned. Used to hotels cleaning in the mornings so it was very odd.
When we checked out and went to leave the hotel, some kind of refurb was going on right outside the front door which we had no idea about which was awkward as we’d opened the door and was shouted at to close it by the workers outside! Had to leave round the back door. The staff had no idea what was going on either.
Was woken up at 8:00 on day one (a Saturday) by some works taking place right outside our door (carpeting stairs and general banging) which we weren’t warned about when we checked in.
Seems the staff are just a bit disorganised or not fully looped in my management on what’s going on.

Fantastic location, and for a central London hotel, extremely quiet.
Very friendly and professional staff, good location in a quiet side street
Rooftop blind could not be closed, so the sun lightened up the bedroom starting at 5 am
No breakfast on site which I missed. And there never seemed to get that delivery of biscuits!
Mainly the no breakfast.
