We stayed at the Campanile Aix en Provence, 28th June 2026. Upon arrival we were informed that the bar and restaurant were not open. We had no warning of this at the time of booking or prior to arrival. We are very, very disappointed as we then had to biook a taxi to take us into the centre €12.05 in and €12.05 return, total €24.10! Then we had to pay centre ville prices to eat and drink which cost €76.50. When I asked to change the date of arrival, earlier before our trip, they insisted that I had to pay the same price as the first date, although the price of the second date was cheaper. Considering there was no bar, no restaurant and we had to incur the extra cost to eat and drink, I have insisted that they refund me the cost of the taxis, the cost of the food and drink and the difference in room price. No acknowledgement so far , 3rd of July 2026. Also no reply to my complaint sent through Booking.Com either!

L'accueil et l'amabilité du personnel, que ce soit à l'accueil de l'hôtel ou en salle de restauration. Le restaurant avec ses formules en libre-service pour un prix correct.

Pros:

La camera è moderna, buoni i materassi dei letti. Comoda la presa vicino al letto. Va bene per un breve soggiorno.

Cons:

L'aria condizionata si spegneva ogni tot di notte e ci ha fatto sudare. La stanza era a livello parcheggio con il via vai delle persone la mattina e la sera. Insonorizzazione inesistente, sentivamo i vicini parlare o fare la doccia.
La zona è periferica e intorno non c'è molto.

Pour moi qui commence à faire partie des personnes très âgées ,80 ans, une douche aurait été plus adaptée.

Petit dej pas fou, personnel peu présent, pas d’œufs au plat, uniquement à la coque ou cuit dur à faire soi même. Machines à café qui débordent, machine à jus de fruit vide….
Accueil par une jeune femme blazée, tout ça ne donne pas envie de revenir
