A scandal
Cons:

After a flight cancellation, I reserved two rooms via Booking, for myself and my 96 year old mother. I telephoned the hotel to check the reservation was properly received, and assured that all was ok, and that I could turn up as late as I liked.
When I arrived at about 11pm, I was informed that only one room was available. The reservation system had allowed EasyJet to block book, and overwrite one of our rooms.

At nearly midnight, had to find another hotel.

I am waiting to be reimbursed.

Further, the receptionist booked a taxi for me to go to the next hotel, even though I was about to book an Uber for 15 euros. This taxi firm has a contract with the hotel, had no meter, and charged 40 euros for an 11km journey.
