OK, but with concerns.

Location good.

Cons:

When allocating a room at the far end of the Buckingham annexe, consideration should be given to the ability of the guest to make such a distant journey on every occasion of using the room. W are reasonably fit for our ages (89 & 86) but the trek to the room,1116, was an unwanted extra at the end of a busy day
Also it needs to be made much clearer when accessing the Buckingham annexe, that Level 3 in the annexe is the same aa level 1 in the main building. This would eliminate much mis-use of the lifts.

great stay in the heart of London
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at the Clermont Charing Cross. The room was large, and the location was fantastic. Because Charing Cross Station is right next door, you can hear occasional train sounds during the day, but since we were out exploring all day, it didn't bother us at all (and the trains stop running at night:)). The breakfast is good, too. We’d definitely stay here again!

Nice stay in general but wouldn’t book again for lack of storage area
Pros:

Great location. Beautiful common areas. In the center of London. Lovely staircase. Good breakfast in a beautiful room.

Cons:

The rooms lack any significant storage space. The bathrooms have no countertop to place your toiletries. We had to bring in a table into the bathroom to place our toiletries. The water in the shower would, without warning, get really cold for about 30 seconds then return to normal. It was annoying to everyone. You couldn’t enjoy your shower. Some very nice guest service and some not so friendly guest service. Couldn’t understand the lady at the front desk because of her heavy accent. She became very annoyed even when I tried politely to understand what she was saying.

Hotel was lovely and the staff were amazing, would definitely stay again!
Pros:

The room was clean and had good facilities. And the bathroom was gorgeous and well sized (the rainfall shower in particular was lovely).

Cons:

The kingsize bed although big was not 1 single bed, it was one of those two large single beds shoved together with a canyon in the middle which was uncomfortable and ruined the bed slightly.

Also the shower although gorgeous was slightly too narrow, im an average sized guy 5'10 95kg. And even i was knocking my elbows trying to wash myself in it. Considering the fact the bathroom is very large there is a lot of dead space in the room. The shower could do with being another foot wider to be more comfortable.
