Great stay for a weekend away

Pros:

The hotel was very nice and elegant, the rooms comfortable. I liked the minibar with water and snacks. Shower was great and tall enough for me so that's a bonus. They had our room ready 2 hours before scheduled check in and that helped us alot for our day.

Cons:

Our bathroom had a slight smell of cigarettes so maybe a previous guest had done so which is unfortunate. Also the walls while seeming to be solid let in some noise from another guest I think next door and it sounded like they were mowing the lawn. Not sure what that was about but luckily it went away.

They applied a service charge AND then asked if we wanted to give a gratuity.
We were not happy with that

Pros:

Exceptional location, short walk to many attractions, restaurants and shopping areas.
The shower design is excellent, no risk of water leaks and water pressure was great.

Cons:

Rooms are slightly small and room doesn’t have enough closet drawers

Super Hotel, tolle Lage, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr gerne wieder!
Pros:

Große Auswahl beim Frühstück! Absolut tolle Lage, 4 Ubahnlinien in der Nähe und Musikals und Theater zu Fuß gut zu erreichen!

Cons:

Das einzige was vielleicht fehlt ist mehr Ablageplatz im Badezimmer! Für 2 Frauen ist es etwas zu wenig!

The location, the staff, the room was clean and comfortable, there's a Starbucks inside the hotel, the bar Platform 7 is very nice.

Pros:

The Clermont Charing Cross is my favorite. Great location on the Strand. Walk across the street to Covent Garden. Just far enough from Oxford Street so you won’t get trapped there. And the Tube is basically in the same building.
