Pros:

Der Eingangsbereich ist neuzeitig und prima klimatisiert. Der Frühstücksbereich ist noch besser klimatisiert. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Die Lage ist perfekt.

Cons:

Bad: Das stehende WC mit aufgesetztem Spülkasten aus den 70-ger Jahren geht in Ordnung.
Der WC-Sitz ist für dieses Becken erheblich zu klein. Passt nicht. Die oberen Kanten der Schubladen unter dem Waschbecken zeigen Auflösungserscheinungen. Eine WC-Bürste gibt es nicht (!). Nachfragen beim Personal führten zu keiner Lösung. Die Ablüftung zeigt erhebliche Verschmutzung durch graue Baumwollfasern.
Die Schiebetüraufhängung ist überarbeitungswürdig.

Zimmer: Am Tischbrett vor der Aussenwad fehlt der Umleimer, an anderer Stelle löst er sich.
Auf dem Teppichboden vor dem Bad befindet sich ein weißer Fleck in Form eines Schuhabdruckes.
Die Klimaanlage schafft es nicht, dass Zimmer unter 24°C zu kühlen.
Rückfragen beim Personal führten zu keiner spürbaren Verbesserung.
24°C zum Schlafen ist zu warm.
Wenn das Fenster mit normalem Kraftaufwand geschlossen wird, öffnet es sich von selbst. Dann schaltet sich die Klimaanlage ab.
Wenn das Fenster mit erheblicher Gewalt geschlossen wird, bleibt es wenigstens zu.
Die Spinnen mit deren Spinnennetzen oben hinter dem Vorhang erfreuen sicherlich jeden Liebhaber dieser Lebewesen.
An der Zuluftöffnung der Klimaanlage fehlen am Lüftungsgitter einige Lamellen. Die noch vorhandenen Lamellen lassen sich nicht verstellen.
Gleiches gilt für die Eingangstür.
Sich auf den Türschließer zu verlassen, führt zu einer offenen Tür. Auch hier gilt -erhöhter Kraftaufwand und erhöhte Aufmerksamkeit, auch hier funktioniert dann die schwache Klimaanlage nicht.
Das gilt natürlich nur für das von uns bewohnte Zimmer.
Für uns bedeutet dies:
Best Western -bad Western.
