We had an event in Maracas room. The service from the reservation of the space and food to the start of the event was professional, courteous, friendly and client oriented. The food was excellent. The service from all staff was great.

What really makes the port of Spain Courtyard experience stand out is its staff, from reception's warm welcome to the hospitable restaurant crew that always started my day off on a high note, to the housekeeping team (special mention for Sherieda) who took immaculate care of my room.
The team at Courtyard POS is fabulous. They cater to our needs with a focus on hospitality and safety. I am intentional about choosing this property given the quality of service. From front desk, to restaurant, to security, to house keeping to back office; everyone is professional and courteous. I especially want to recognize Sherieda and Rachel.
The receptionist was very accommodating. On entering the lobby the place felt very clean. All furniture and art used were very appealing to the eye. The spaces felt very modern and refined.
The bedroom was spacious enough and the bed extremely comfortable. Even the furniture looked very classy and all amenities made available in the bedroom and bathroom were laid out very nicely and actually functional.
My family and I visited the hotel for my mums birthday. It was remarkable like always, they truly outdid themselves and made my mums birthday so so special. Our server Melica was outstanding and truly made the experience wonderful. Will definitely be coming back
I do like to return to this hotel in my regular visits. The rooms are clean. The staff are friendly. Extremely nice people from desk to restaurant service, security and room service to housekeeping. They are just wonderful. They made my long stay feel like home. Especially house keeping (Sherieda), very attentive. All are friendly and courteous. Only one negative thing I can say is that I used to get bottle water daily in my room. This trip, I only get one bottle when checked in. No more after that, it is just a bit inconvenience especially after a long day of work, I have to find water. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel & definitely come back to the same hotel next time I am in Port of Spain again.
From arrival were warmly welcomed and Melica was a pleasant and friendly hostess. She ensured we had an enjoyable time.
The breakfast was amazing everyday with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The dishes included yogurt, a variety of fruits, fresh juice, and sides to choose from.
Tracey, Melica, Renique, Dillon, Stacey, Sheikh, Renado, Victoria, Nicole, Amanda, Allysa, Chrystal, these are just a few of the names that I remember but I can assure you that all of the staff are super friendly, respectful, helpful and an overall delight. From check in to breakfast to just needing recommendations on t things to experience. I would absolutely return to Courtyard Marriot. It's a pity I can't give 10 stars.

Cheikya and Melica were an absolute pleasure meeting. They were so polite and warm. Always willing to assist. They made us feel s at home, we didn't want to leave. Can't wait to return again soon.
The staff at the Marriott are warm and welcoming. They made us feel at home. I dined twice and was served, both times, by Cheikya. She made me an amazing rum punch which was not on the menu but which should have been. I enjoyed speaking and laughing with her. She exemplifies excellent customer service! By the end of my stay I was saddened to leave her behind. I hope the Marriott realizes what an amazing person she is and utilizes her talents to train other staff. With more staff like her, I would expect business to excel at the Marriott. I cannot wait to return!
I have visited the courtyard on Friday night after work with a friend before going home and i must say Cheikya's service was excellent
The hotel was very nice in an ideal location with food outlets and bars in close proximity. The staff were so friendly and made us welcome. The rooms were a good size with a comfortable bed with good bathroom and shower. Varied breakfast every morning. Small but adequate nice pool area with a lot of outdoor comfortable seating. Would recommend!

We love staying at the Courtyard by Marriott, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. The staff they’re good above and beyond at every turn. This is our third visit and they always remember us and take such good care of us. From the check-in with Ann-Marie at the front desk to the cleaning staff, to the restaurant staff. In particular, our family has some significant food allergies and the kitchen staff go above and beyond, making sure that we have delicious meals that meet all our allergy requirements. Ann-Marie, at the front desk, lets the kitchen know we have arrived, and then Tracey, our server, coordinates with the chefs, Renique and Tricia; Tracey always spend the time to have conversations with us and go over every detail of the meals to make sure all is well. We can’t thank all of enough for taking such good care of us. See you next time.😁🥰
The sand is washed off, the doubles digested, the Piarco Royal Castle and KFC have been eaten and I’m back to reality. It is only fitting that I take the time to document my experience at the Courtyard by Marriott POS. My husband and I qualified for and stayed on the 3rd floor. This floor gave a special touch to our 10 day stay. Our package included breakfast, which I must say, the variety exceeded our expectations. There was the traditional Marriott breakfast but with a twist. The twist on different days, included local favorites: Coconut bake, curried bodi, tomato choka, stewed chicken, smoked herring, saltfish, fresh pastries, omelettes made to order, freshly blended fruit juice etc etc etc.
The quiet ambiance within the hotel, the view of the Hasley Crawford stadium, the view of the lights on the hills at night, the proximity to MovieTowne and of course the convenience of being so close to St James and Ariapita Avenue, sold it all for hubby and myself. We have found a home away from home, and if time off work and Bonvoy points allow, we shall be back soon. As a note, this is coming from someone who had not ventured back to Trinidad in the last 15 yrs prior to our visit.
I would like to mention some of the staff who contributed to making our trip not just extra special but memorable. Front desk we have Ann Marie and Amanda. Then there is Tracey, Melica, Chantelle, Kenisha, Anestasia on dining. I may be mixing up names, as well as missing some, but I ask for forgiveness in that aspect. There was also a young man (Dining), tall dark, well spoken but I did not get his name. He and the older gentleman in dining handled us well. There was not one day that we were not treated like family.
Here is the MAIN reason for my review and why I even took the time to write this review. Cheikya. On our very first day, Cheikya, was completely attentive to everything and anything we requested and or asked about. In my humble opinion, Cheikya is the example of what Marriott Bonvoy expects when it comes to customer service. Her energy is uplifting, her tone is caring, just an all-round lovely young lady. I would even go as far as to recommend her to be a part of the Courtyard by Marriott POS Ambassador team (if one exists).
I personally, have travelled across the US, even Costa Rica and Canada, training young and old on using a certain hospital system. This has allowed me to stay at many different Marriott establishments. I say this whole heartedly, Cheikya is THE BEST. Congratulations Courtyard Marriott POS, on having one of the best workers I have ever come across in my 24 years of travelling.
