Very comfortable bed. Spa very nice.
Other people staying in hotel need to be educated that their doors do not need to be physically slammed shut as the doors actually close on their own and lock themselves.
Door slamming kept me awake and woke me up when I eventually fell asleep numerous times in the night and morning....
Great food and drinks. Wonderful swimming pool and spa. Tennis court is a great option too.
The double bed was small and matrass is not firm enough.
Everything was amazing. The facilities and staff were great. The breakfast was very nice indeed
The service for lunch on the terrace was very slow and food was a little more expensive. I visisted with children who were only allowed a short 1 hour window into the spa and pool which i really think should have been made clearer to us beforehand.
We came just an hour after our Wedding for a long weekend there… it’s breathtaking thwre with a photo in every direction the building is so historic and captured all of our wedding pics like a fairy tale!.. couldn’t fault it!!
The staff are amazing and so polite and can’t do enough to make your stay perfect!..

Rooms were painted and tidy but Carpets were tired. The bridge Restaurant Very overrated, they were trying to serve me fries instead of triple cooked chips. The Vegan Burger was awful, should not be on the menu if the execution is going to be so poor. The Grounds of the Hotel were immaculate, and staff all were very polite. The Gym was very sub standard and spa area was also not much better, definitely not worth the price tag.

Picturesque location clean and comfortable room.
Got back from the family funeral we attended and was told that the kitchens were shut and no food was available. It was sorted in the end.
spacious room for our family of 4. Lovely terrace for drinks or food with beautiful gardens. Dogs made welcome
Absolutely incredible service. Attended there to get my wife a voucher for her birthday. Very well greeted by Karen on reception who guided me in the right direction to the spa where I was warmly welcomed by immie who couldn't of done enough. Helped me with absolutely everything both Karen and immie and took time to really detail my wife's future visit. Incredible!!
Location was superb.
While restaurants staff were very obliging the timeliness at dinner and breakfast was missing with delays in completing orders eg potato arrived at the end of the meal and at breakfast toast did not arrive till we were leaving the table!
Also staff were very slow in clearing the table between courses. Hope this helps improve your restaurant experience
