Pb de lampe dans les chambres

The building was difficult to navigate and a challenge to anyone not in good physical shape. The breakfast was a disaster, we were asked to book a time slot for breakfast, so we did. having been forced to book a time slot for breakfast and prepay we were disappointed to find out that we could not sit for breakfast at our time slot and were told to come back in 30 minutes. This same message was being told to people who were booked ahead of us and behind us. Spooler we did not get seated for some time after that additional wait. No tea or coffee was offered or available during this additional wait. When we did finally get seated our food arrived suspiciously fast and then we saw that the breakfast was half of what was advertised, not just a small portion but items simply missing from the plate. We obviously asked and were told they had run out, Both of key parts of the cooked breakfast and of any of buffet style breakfast items that were on display previously when we attempted to sit at our booked time. No refund or communication. I felt like they just hoped that we would be too hungry to notice. No sugar was available for our tea and coffee, they explained that they had run out when we asked. Just as we had finished our little food and bad coffee someone appeared with some sugar.
The room itself was basic and could have done with some home comforts like a fan or chair. Only one of the lights in the room worked. But it was somewhere to sleep. The person next to me snored all night but that was not the hotel's fault, I brought them with me so that's on me lol

Stanza molto piccola e bagno altrettanto,illuminazione bassa anche con tutte le luci accese.
La finestra non chiudeva perfettamente ed il rumore del traffico arrivava non filtrato in camera
Mancava un appoggio per la valigia,armadio piccolo e già ingombrato da suppellettili tipo stufa,cuscini e coperte supplementari
Colazione essenziale che va ordinata agli addetti,niente macchina automatica per le bevande calde,il caffè è una brodaglia fatta con il solubile.
In definitiva,troppo costoso per la qualità offerta

Room was small

Since I’ve mostly been away for the last month for work purposes and staying in hotels for 1-4 days each week, my husband and I finally had a day when we had the same schedule and we decided to book a room at The Washington. I arrived early at 2pm cause I had to work at 3. I was put in Room 22 and while the room was very spacious, the bed was small. I double checked with the room service if it was right and I was told they’ll verify with reception. After a few minutes (walked all the way up from town centre and had to rest up a bit), I walked out for work and inquired about the room on my way out acknowledging I may have made a mistake upon booking. The reception lady said I booked a single which I apologised for and asked if there is a way I can move and asked if there’s no room available happy to take the single room if that’s alright. I was told due to policies my husband and I cannot stay in ta single room and was asked to pay £10 extra. I was given a room key and because I was already late for work, I didn’t and wasn’t able to check room 73. To our surprise, when we arrived at 11PM that night after work and my husband travelled all the way from Frome, the room had the same size of bed I had in Room 22 (which I was told we couldn’t stay in because of policies) and the room was 1/2 the size of the first. So we basically paid extra for the same size bed, 1/2 smaller room. We couldn’t do anything more as it was almost midnight and had to sleep in a tiny bed and move around a very cramped room for 1. It was uncomfortable and very frustrating. I was told they will only refund £10 extra which in this casse we should’ve just stayed in the original room 😭😭

No breakfast available as chef did not turn up on Friday morning and on Saturday again no one available to cook breakfast, not good when you have paid for bed and breakfast - bed only supplied and no breakfast when asking the hotel about a refund they stated that you have to go through Booking.com

Damaged walls and ceilings, damp, mould, and accident waiting to happen. Dirty rooms, really aged. Chef did not turn in so no breakfast and was late the second day.

Can’t believe I paid £227 for this place.

Felt unclean, sticky hand rails on stairs, dirty carpets, absolutely filthy chairs in dining room, a really poor breakfast- I also asked for a napkin and was presented with some ripped kitchen roll “sorry we don’t have napkins”- really??

They clearly spiked the prices as knew it was university dropping off weekend.

Not sure where all the fab reviews are coming from. Only good thing is the central Clifton location - and easy to walk in to city centre.

Walls to thin, woken at 4am by other guests having a conversation.

The bed had a big dip in it, the room was noisy from the street, neighbours and shower fan. It took ages to get checked in and all the parking was gone.
