Loved the location & ease to local shops & cafes

Cons:

The lack of screens on the windows so we were unable to leave the windows open for fresh air.
Also the light directly opposite the bedroom which came on whenever you used the kitchen, hence waking up anyone trying to sleep.
Also, a coffee pod machine would have been a nice touch. Instant coffee not appreciated by dedicated coffee drinkers.
Minor details, I know, but I believe in constructive feedback.

Relaxing, Beautiful Tropical Retreat
Pros:

Martinique on Macrossan is a wonderful property that ticks every box for a relaxing Port Douglas getaway. It's just a two minute stroll to Four Mile Beach and an equally easy walk to the restaurants and shops.

We were greeted warmly by Ken and Colin and Ken escorted us to the apartment to make sure we settled in quickly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

The rooms are well appointed with a kitchenette, dining table, sitting area and a king sized bed. The attention to detail in the decoration shows that the owners genuinely care about your comfort and how you feel in the space.

The parking beneath the building is a welcome bonus that takes the stress out of arriving.

The lush tropical gardens with a swimming pool give the property a gorgeous, resort-like atmosphere that feels both peaceful and indulgent.

We couldn't have asked for a better for a relaxing escape.

Lovely stay at Martinique. Ken and Colin were very friendly and helpful hosts!
Pros:

A great stay. Ken and Colin were extremely helpful as we planned our first trip to Port Douglas, providing lots of helpful information so we could arrange trips and meals out. They were super helpful and very friendly to deal with.

A good stay with locality being its best feature.
Pros:

The location was great, the hosts were helpful and cheery, the room was clean and a good size. The kitchen was well equiped and the bed was comphy. The parking was good and off-road. There was water available at the reception. The wifi was good.

Cons:

The TV was quite small and 'clunky' in operation. The pool was cold for a 'heated' pool. The room could have been better ventilated when sleeping. Whist the windows could be opened, they were not screened, hence some insects. The balcony was small and the view was poor. The shower was a bit small.

Great spot for your stay in Port Douglas
Pros:

A great location, close the beach (with a stinger net area and lifeguard_ and within easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants, shops and bottle shops. The pool area was lovely. The unit was tastefully decorated, and Ken and Colin were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn't like, although the unit could use a little bit of an update in the kitchen, it was still fully functional and had everything we needed.
