Enchanting Retreat Experience
Pros:

This place was an oasis and a respite after a long week of traveling. I slept so good here. The breakfast was gorgeous and delicious. The grounds are enchanting, there are olive trees, fruit trees, ponds, and fountains, and a lovely pool. The staff went above and beyond. AC worked great, the bathroom was huge, the shower was amazing, and the room was adorable. I would have expected to pay twice what I paid to stay here.

Ein außergewöhnliches hotel, was sehr in die Jahre gekommen ist

Der Garten ist sehr hübsch, allerdings total eingewachsen. Der Gärtner war lange nicht mehr da. Auch die Möbel, die zum verweilen im Garten stehen, sind ziemlich heruntergekommen.

Cons:

Das hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, anhand der Bilder (auch auf booking.com) kann man sich vorstellen, wie hübsch es vor sehr langer Zeit war. Angefangen mit nur ein Duschgel, der Föhn und die Klimaanlage, die einen direkt am Bett anbläst und do laut ist, das man meint ein Düsenjet startet, ist die Ausstattung sehr einfach. Allerdings alles sauber und wem das nichts ausmacht, wird sich sehr wohl fühlen. Frühstück ist ein buffet, Eier gab es leider auch auf extra Kosten nicht.

Le mas est situé dans un parc. Les extérieurs ne sont pas très entretenus et infestés de moustiques

A magic place to relax

This is a very magical place. You feel like you are a guest in someone's grand home. It isn't like a traditional hotel, more like a retreat. Very relaxing.

As I said, it isn't like a traditional hotel, so there is no bar or restaurant, though they serve a very decent breakfast. We didn't mind this at all, but others expecting hotel-type facilities may be surprised. They did have a selection of very pleasant wines!
