Quiet haven in the bustle of seaside resort
Pros:

It was utterly beautiful, from the moment we arrived we knew we had a lovely stay ahead. The grounds and pool are like a dreamy haven from the bustle of the town and seafront. A few minutes walk to the main town and beaches. Free parking on the streets outside or multi story very close by. The staff were amazing, so attentive and helpful. The pool was outstanding. The room was large and comfortable. The food and drink menu was just right and really reasonable prices. Would return in a heartbeat!

Pour côtoyer régulièrement les hôtels 4 et 5 étoiles, celui-ci est bien loin du compte.
Arrivés hier à 11h00 on m'indique à l'accueil que ma chambre va être prête en avance et l'on me propose d'aller prendre un café en terrasse durant la demie heure d'attente.

Lorsque je récupère la chambre 1h00 plus tard je découvre que la climatisation souffle de la poussière (cf. photo) car n'ayant pas été entretenue '8 nettoyée. Le dessous du lit n'a quant à lui pas été lavé, poussière et détritus s'y trouvent (cf. photo).

Je me rends dès lors à l'accueil où le "responsable" m'attend et me dit immédiatement, sans même lavoir écouté au préalable, avec vanité et agressivité qu'il ne nous changera pas de chambre, que j'étais déjà chanceux de pouvoir la récupérer en avance gracieusement (j'ai payé 396€ pour une nuit). Je demandais simplement à avoir une chambre propre, hygiénique, de ne pas dormir dans la saleté et la poussière.

3h plus tard la climatisation a été nettoyée (toujours pas le sol sous le lit), le directeur commercial du groupe m'annonce nous offrir 2 coupes de champagne pour s'excuser du désagrément. Je n'ai jamais vu la couleur de ces fameuses coupes.

Ce matin nous prenons notre petit déjeuner quand je m'aperçois que des pigeons sont en train de se régaler sur le buffet, qu'ils se baladent et picorent directement sur le pain, les brioches : un festin qui n'inquiète personne ! Un pigeon est même rentré entièrement dans une panière où il souille toute la nourriture !

Comment voulez-vous manger après cela, au risque d'attraper des maladies !

Nous sommes outrés avec ma Femme, tant du manque d'hygiène global que du ton irrespectueux avec lequel nous a parlé ce "responsable", c'est inadmissible, un établissement à fuir qui a gâché notre séjour.

Perfect relaxing couple retreat
Pros:

The staff were so lovely, gave great recommendations and were always so pleasant. The hotel was so relaxing, quiet and quaint. We felt like we could actually sit back and relax. The pool is so great to have, it seems most people just chilled at the poolside most of the day! The room was so much better than expected, cool unique interiors that we really admired!

There was a few ants in the room, but didn't bother us
