Hotel exudes a real sense of pride of service; very professional and nothing was too much trouble.
Pros:

Perfect location and extremely good value for a really neat hotel close to the centre of Wellington but away from all the noise and hsutle and bustle that can sometimes come with being right in the centre of things.

Exceptional base for discovering Wellington
Pros:

Outstanding location -- discovering Wellington from this corner with the beautiful Bolton St Cemetery and Botanic Gardens within easy walk was perfect for my young family. The hotel itself is very comfortable and well appointed, with exceptional drinks and food service in house. We will be back!

Comfortable, clean & convenient for a weeknight stay.
Pros:

Location super handy for where i needed to be for work. Comfortable bed & nice bright room. The soap & body lotion were lovely. Also loved the fluffy blanket on the bed.

Cons:

Hvac noise was very noticeable. Mini bar list wasn't up to date- i had to ask at reception if the bottled water in the fridge was complimentary, which it isn't, but it's not in the price list. The lifts are quite small & dark, fortunately I wasn't travelling with a lot of luggage.

Pros:

Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Very central to the city.

Cons:

The indoor pool was too cool for us but we used the spa instead

Our room was nice and quiet, it was clean. It wasn't as good as the last time I stayed though. Spa pool was tepid and wouldn't let us turn it up.

Cons:

I had an unpleasant experience with one of the staff. She said she was new, and the manager apologized, but I won't be going back. We also valet parked our car ($40 a day), called them ahead of time and it was never ready when we came down. The key cards were faulty and we had to change them 2 or 3 times. Was annoying
