Clean. Convenient
There were no towels in the room and no shampoo in the dispenser. They brought them up to the room right away but I’ve never encountered that anywhere else
Location
Limited options for eating
Loved everything about it
N/a
Great hotel in the perfect location for a lot of the tourist sites & subway station next door for those locations not as close.
Breakfast was great with so much choice & everything you could want.
Bar area was very pleasant and comfortable with great friendly service
Breakfast room was quite small for the size of the hotel. This resulted most mornings having to wait for a table to be available. On one of the four days we were there this was just over 30 minutes
Location
Need night lights in bathrooms!
No refrigerators!
The hotel is wonderful and feels safe with guards in the front and the main hotel elevators on the 2nd floor. It is the ideal location if you want to go see Broadway shows. It was so nice to come back to the room and take a rest during the day. There are so many restaurants in every direction of all different nationalities. I was really impressed by all the small businesses thriving in NY. I had to try all the amazing coffees in the nearby coffee shops in the morning. Loved our time in the city.
location excellent to center of NY. Room was comfortable, but did not include refrigerator. Not sure that housekeeping cleaned the room because a bottle cap was on the floor when I checked in and next day was still there when I checked out it was still there. I believe they only replenished the towels and maybe change linens.

Everything. Facilities were nice location was perfect staff was amazing
A little Better in room dining options
The only thing I liked is the amazing support from John the porter. He's a gem of a guy and is the only reason I'm writing this review because if it wasn't for him, I would have walked out of the hotel and not stayed there. His professional attitude and approach and how he calmed me down was much better than the front desk staff and their manager.
Everything other than John. I arrived at the hotel at 5:30pm and my room wasn't ready. I was told it would be ready in an hour. I needed to do some shopping anyway, even though I was jet lagged, I was fine and went out with the promise that they were going to call me when my room was ready. I returned to the hotel at 8pm, no one had called and my room was still not ready. I complained and was offered a $50 credit at their bar but all I wanted was a room to rest. 45 minutes later I was finally given a room... I was charged for the full fare, offered 15k Marriott points for the inconvenience that continued at the breakfast with the waiter insisting on seeing the voucher which I didn't know I was given until he showed me what it looked like, then charged me for the breakfast until I got to my room and brought him back the voucher and didn't believe me when I showed him the booking. What hotel in the world doesn't have a computer system to show which room has breakfast included or not and has to rely on vouchers?!?! All in all, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a Marriott chain hotel and especially the Westin that's supposed to be a luxury brand. They were far from it... Except for John the hero.
Beautiful hotel. Very spacious rooms. Beds so comfy. Bang in the centre of time square. Next to port Authority for easy access to sub. Perfect. Best hotel I've stayed in in NYC.
